In an unrelated story, my decision to drive to Cedar Rapids IA to see Loverboy and REO Speedwagon last week as opposed to Grand Forks to see a sweep at the hands of Denver turned out to be a pure genius move.

Potentially plenty of good seats available for Gopher fans.

The most frustrating part of the Berry regime can’t be understated: 1 NCAA tournament win in 7 seasons. His hot seat would literally be on fire if that 2020 team had gone 0-1 in the dance. On the flip side, if UND wins the 2020 national title, we’re not even having this conversation today.

I was thinking the same thing after seeing the scores. BU looks pretty mediocre too. This has all the makings of a .500 season for North Dakota.

Excellent points. Hell, James Franklin is being skewered for a 4 second interaction with a Penn State fan yesterday. Imagine what he’d be facing over an X post showing him nodding off in a team meeting. At this point, I’m hoping for an 0-3 finish to the season - and BAD losses at that, at which point the head coach falls on his sword for the sake of the school he loves.

Just curious what scientific logic was used to draw that conclusion…I might argue that with 3 national titles since 2017, everyone’s “must-see” home hockey weekend is Denver.
