Why does UND make every team it plays look like the second coming of the 1972 Soviets?

You would think Berry would have stumbled across my analytics by now and tell the boys to play from the opening gun until the end-of-period horn but here we are years later…

Tulsa fired their head coach yesterday before he finished 2 full seasons at the school. Yes, the storied Golden Hurricane program even knows when enough is enough. Meanwhile, in Grand Forks, year 12 should FINALLY be the one where North Dakota turns the corner.

I expect the falling on the sword to happen in just under 12 hours. We know you love the University of North Dakota, Bubba, but 12 years is enough. It’s time. Do the right thing and call it a career here.

They were at home for those three games too. Cornell on the road may have been a better indicator of how this season will eventually pan out.

In an unrelated story, my decision to drive to Cedar Rapids IA to see Loverboy and REO Speedwagon last week as opposed to Grand Forks to see a sweep at the hands of Denver turned out to be a pure genius move.

Potentially plenty of good seats available for Gopher fans.
