If we don't make the conference tournament I think its an option to look at.

EWU leading 24-21.

As far as what positions to improve: 1. Defense (all positions) 2. OL 3. RB 4. QB 5. Special Teams Overall improvement: 1. Discipline (on the bench with players actions, on the field with penalties) 2. Fundamentals (play to the whistle) 3. Trust (the players need to trust the new coach and each other, people lost faith with Muss) 4. Accountability (if you lose, man up no toe to toe crap anymore) 5. WIN!

I went to the Potato Bowl (have done so every year for many years) but after watching UM, and MSU blow this team out I wasn't going to spend the money (not to mention take time off of work), drive up from Fargo to see UND get blown out. I did that as a kid growing up blocks from Memorial Stadium getting a GA ticket basically sitting at the 50 yd line in a 3/4 empty stadium and watched RT's new team get beat by Augustana, or UNC. But back then all I had to pay was a price of a ticket (which wasn't much)...times are different now.

I see the Towson-EWU game and think its nice to have a playoff system, then on ESPN you have the New Mexico Bowl, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and the New Orleans Bowl....really do those bowls even attract people? The teams all suck in it (barely above .500), the only bowl with any interest in the area is the N.O. Bowl because the teams are Louisiana-Lafayette and Tulane. Who in Boise wants to see Buffalo and San Diego St? I can see why schools lose money on Bowl games unless its a major bowl (Rose, Orange, Sugar, Fiesta, etc.). Long live the FCS playoffs!!

That was amazing!! One thing I noticed on that drive is the time the QB had to look over his receivers and throw. UND does need an OL like that again.

This is going to be a huge factor next season!!

I would love to have both UND and NDSU make the dance at the same time. I like Saul Phillips he is a nice guy and he is nice to my son, so I hope he does well.

The offended ones are the non-Native Americans because they have nothing else to bitch about.

I would rather UND move up if there is a split in the FBS and a new subdivision is formed with lower FBS teams and upper FCS teams combined, but until that happens its FCS all the way.

It does matter how a team plays in a conference tourny, because you lose in the tourny there is no dance. Neither conference is ever good enough for at large bid (we both are NOT Kansas). UND's ultimate goal is the dance, but our immediate goal is making the tourny. No tourny = no dance.

You said you had some very quality wins and I was just wondering your definition of very quality. ND yes, Valley City and Vertibo no, Rider and Bryant...not my definition of "very quality" wins.

Without making that tournament there is no dance, but you could be last in the SL and still make their conference tourny.

You mean the NCAA tournament because unlike the BSC everyone in the SL (except Omaha) makes the tournament. NDSU's season doesn't start until the SL tourny starts, UND's season starts with the first conference game.
