Actually I thought of Kansas State first. But when people say can't have RoughRiders because of Red River, does that include all schools in the GGF area? No Wolves, Royals, Raiders, Green Wave. That's why I sorta like Jets (aerospace plus I am a Winnipeg Jets fan), and Oilers (drilling out west) with a cool logo like Houston not Edmonton.

I would think when Muss had UND as a pass-happy team he recruited kids with that mentality, now Bubba comes in says they are going to run the ball, now you need the kids to fit that offense. It is hard to say what exactly each kid is leaving for, if its disrupting the team chemistry good riddance to them, if its playing time then I wish them luck wherever they go, but if its lack of talent, then take it as a suggestion to get better (lift weights, drop weight, practice). What Bubba is doing is for the long run, not for just this season.

Good thing you weren't here in the 80's, the 49-0 drubbing every year was horrible to watch. I think they would have destroyed our Muss-led defense. 91 and 92 was down to the wire close losses and in 93 UND needed something to turn the series around (which was at 12 losses straight), enter Mooney's fumble return and 10 out of 13 wins over the Bison. Now because of the void all we have is stats and history, not a real game to ponder over. That is what we need..one game in the present to see where both teams stack up against one another. By the time we play each other flying cars and hovercrafts will be everywhere.

So when are the protests scheduled at NA schools with NA nicknames? (Mahnomen Indians, Mandan Braves, Solen Fighting Sioux, Florida State Seminoles). If its bad for schools outside the reservations due to mental anguish what makes it right to have those same nicknames ON the reservations. Also I didn't know Chief Wahoo made the reservations live in poverty. That Chief must be hording all the employment and money those reservations could be getting. Lets hang, oh wait Chief Wahoo isn't a real person. Hmmm.
