50+ yard run by Abdullah, then a perfect pass over dom Davis for 6. Schor was a damn good QB. He's the reason they won, even with how Abdullah gashed us, it was Schor's ability to avoid sacks and extend plays that made the difference

Better team won tonight, congrats to them. Was very impressed with the Dukes.
-
That's what you're going to go with?
-
I didn't realize the FCS played a 3rd and 4th place game.
-
This is embarrassing for the defense. I understand it taking us a few drives to figure out their blocking schemes, but they are just owning our guys right now. Damn.
-
Be happy you don't know.
-
Yeah they've been dominating us so far. This QB is slippery, otherwise NDSU would have 3-4 sacks and it'd be a completely different game. He's impressive.
-
That's fair, he is truly in a class of his own.
-
Yeah all those fans who come to Fargo from around the country and write opinion pieces in the forum are all wrong I suppose.

No unbiased viewer would think that every fanbase doesn't have a-hole fans. Thinking UND fans don't have those who don't represent their school well is just naive. Your comments show that you are clearly biased, I don't need to know you in the slightest to see that.

It seems like a lot of your experiences dealing with NDSU fans have been through the prism of a UND fan, hardly an unbiased view. How much experience do you have viewing UND fans through an NDSU fans prism?

My mom as she was walking to her car outside of the Alerus in 2003 had a full beer can thrown at her by a classy UND undergraduate. Pretty sure there are just as many idiots in the northern RR valley as there are in the south.

Before we all get up on our high horses here, keep in mind I've been at many parties with UND athletes...kids will be kids.

This conversation comes up nearly every time two teams go head to head on recruits. Why did they choose to play at one school vs the other. The team that "wins" a recruit puffs up their chest for a while, while the team that "loses" acts like what they have is better and is incredulous as to why a kid would ever choose another school over theirs. The truth is, these kids are making life decisions, not just football decisions. Especially at this level of football. Maybe UND has the program he plans to enter academically, maybe he liked the idea of building a program at UND vs sustaining a program at NDSU, maybe on his recruiting visit he met a cute co-ed and wants to see it through(these are 18-21 year old men after all). Point is, only JJ can say why he is at UND now and he doesn't have to justify it to anyone except himself. It's his life and he's a North Dakota kid, best of luck to him in his life, of which football may only be involved for another couple years.

You all realize the OP was talking about the U of M depth chart not the NDSU depth chart at RB, right?
-
Feels like you may be forgetting some players who have also played at FBS schools recently. Those two aren't the only ND players to play FBS football in the last 10-15 years. A simple google search would be warranted in this case.
-
Definitely a player to be excited about, but as with all recruiting, only time will tell if he'll be an impact player for UND. And yes I'd say the same thing if he transferred to NDSU. Good pick up for you guys.

Literally impossible to make an accurate prediction.

In fact we don't have to guess since the #2 team in the country(Ohio state) beat the #7 team in the country(Oklahoma)at the time 45-24 in a blowout game that I was at in Norman Oklahoma earlier this fall. The score was much closer than the actual game as evidenced by the fact that the Oklahoma fans piled out of the stadium back to Sugar's before the 4th quarter started. I didn't see a lot of parity in the FBS that night. Had a lot of fun in Norman though.
-
If? Hard to say, every game plays out differently.
-
Ummm...you call that not making a comparison? Who is the #1 FBS team? Alabama. Who is the #1 FCS team? NDSU. I know it 5 already, but take it slow on the whiskey brother, you're losing it.
-
You were the one who made the comparison between the two teams, not me. Nice try.
-
Wofford completed 6 passes in that game and gave arguably the best defense in NDSU history a serious run for their money in a 14-7 loss. Option teams are different.
-
If you say so...if you ask me, Alabama would beat Oklahoma just as bad as NDSU would beat North Carolina a & t. Beat them 40 something to 7-14.
