  1. Makes you wonder how talented Gronowski really is when he doesn’t have nfl talent surrounding him at every position.
  2. I would assume they are basing their thoughts on projecting UND at least 2 more losses through the rest of the year.
  3. And my point is the entire FCS is trash outside of a few teams, so there isn’t anyone for them to play to prove they are good. As the old saying goes, you can only beat the teams on your schedule.
  4. This is his schtick? I guess I did fall for it then. Makes sense that his posts are satire now that I read back. No serious person could have their pride hit with such awful takes and then come back for more
  5. If you say so… If you think all of the polls are wrong, where’s your website with your expert analysis and poll to show your expertise?
  6. So in one post you say a 21 point win at the opponent’s stadium is a team being exposed and it’s a blowout and in the next one you say a 24-3 point win was closer than it would indicate. Sounds to me you change the rules based on whether or not NDSU is involved.
  7. There are about 5 good teams in the FCS anymore and NDSU is one of them. All five of those teams are title contenders with sdsu being the favorite
  8. I see more of a 34-24 win for the Jacks. I don’t think SDSU is as strong as they’ve been either this year. Either way, losing to the #1 team in the country isn’t being “exposed”. Being exposed would be losing by double digits to a team much lower than you in the polls.
  9. USD is unproven as a top team to me. They’ve looked good, I agree, but I can’t look at a single win they have that proves they are legit yet.
  10. A 14 point loss is whooped? I guess we’ll just have to agree to have different definitions of that word.
  11. At the risk of repeating myself, define whoop. I see sdsu winning, but I see a 10–14 point win. I don’t see that as a whooping or being “exposed”.
  12. Define what you’ll accept as “exposed” before the game so you don’t move the goal posts afterward.
  13. Your predictions have gone well so far, I’m sure you’re correct on this one too.
  14. I count 15 top 5 picks since 2002 that Carson has had a better career than.
  15. It’s true, don’t know what changed in his head once he got hurt, but he hasn’t been able to find that magic again that’s for sure.
  16. http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/positions/qb Depending on what you consider a comparable draft pick(top 5 picks are fair to me), he wouldn’t even be in the top 10 for his own position all time, arguably in the last 20 years even. Calling him an all time bust is laughable in my view.
  17. This site is the only place on the planet that thinks the above statement is true. There isn’t a single objective statistic you can point to that puts him anywhere near the discussion of “bust”.
  18. That’s my understanding, yes. https://www.siouxfallslive.com/sports/south-dakota-state-football-projected-two-deep https://gojacks.com/sports/football/roster Didn’t get through the defense, but on offense if this 2 deep is accurate, they lose their 2 best receivers, starting TE, starting RB and 4/5 starting o line. But who knows with the Covid year still playing a role in some of these kids’ eligibility. Also, have zero doubt that sdsu has studs ready to step in for everyone they lose.
  19. Their current run has been accomplished with all of the same players. I’m already very impressed with SDSU, but if this run continues into next year, I’ll be the first to admit they’ve overtaken NDSU as the dominant FCS team. As of now, they’re on a great run, but let’s see if they can do it with the next crop of players the way NDSU did.
  20. I’m sure you talked to him and understand exactly why he switched. By your logic SDSU was already better when he committed to NDSU in the first place. To reduce such a complicated decision for an 18 year old kid to “SDSU is better, it’s not complicated” is a silly notion. This is a very complicated decision for a kid that grew up a Bison fan.
  21. NDSU is fine. They will continue to be the class of FCS football. SDSU is on a hell of a run, there’s no doubt, but let’s see if they can reload heading into next year. This “passing of the torch” may be short lived. As far as the running back who flipped his commitment, I’m not sure it’s a coincidence that he flipped his commitment the day after ndsu loses its head coach. Maybe it was a toss up in his mind between ndsu and sdsu to begin with and when ndsu lost its coach and there is uncertainty, making a change for him made sense. I’m not panicking on recruiting over one player in these circumstances
  22. Good point. He is potentially the only example, but he also happened to coach teams that only lost 1 time in 2 years, not a ton to complain about during that time. People still complained that his offenses were predictable and boring if I remember correctly though.
  23. NDSU fans haven’t been happy with a single offensive coordinator in the last 25 years. I can’t name one in my adult life that was appreciated while they were at NDSU. Vigen recruited, developed and coached three nfl draft draft picks at the QB position(wentz and stick(just recruited)and then Josh Allen at Wyoming) and people still thought he wasn’t good enough. I’m proud to be an NDSU fan, but the expectations of the fanbase are completely out of control.
  24. My guess is he’ll make between 800k-1 mil
  25. Yeah about that I’d estimate
