I'm still trying to figure out how the scholarship situation is working out. The Forwards make sense: subtract Kristo, Knight and Rowney add Johnson, Tambellini and Murphy The Defense doesn't: subtract Gleason, Mac and Forbort add LaDue, Thompson, Ausmus, Stetcher(?), Poolman(?)

It also states that him and Thompson are living together next year. Safe to say they are both coming in.

Greg Shea, Tri-City's president tweeted a photo of Wilkie being interviewed after the draft wearing a Tri-City jersey. Not to jinx anything but I think everyone can relax a little about him going to the WHL. He must have known that he'd be going to Tri City.

I totally understand this point of view. The team that came out here tonight would've ran other top teams in the country out of the building. And i admit that it was a perfect storm for O'donnel and Mitch to both score goals. Some times I chose to nit pick to make my point but thats the nature of fandom right? I guess all i'm trying to say is that it worked tonight. maybe it won't next thursday, maybe it wont in the tournament. But as a fan i chose to believe in the choices of a man who has constantly led us to the promise land. To get us to the point where we at least have a shot at a national title by being in the tournament. I haven't been overly vocal about all of this because i do not post often anymore. At this point i have as much faith in this team as i have outside of the two teams that should have won it all, the Frattin led team and the DOT line.

Im not the person to point out specific persons but many before the game called the coach into question about his line up decisions. Mitch scored. o d scored, on a poor goal i'll admit. Clark played great. There's a reason you guys sit here and chat each other on a computer and that hak has the job that he has.

Wisconsin is a pretty good example of an elite program that is the opposite of our current sustained success with no championships. Since Eaves took over in 2002 they have a national title but have only been to the NCAA tournament 5 times(once with a losing record) in 10 years with a strong posibility of missing again this year.

The only team that had a chance at signing Nick Schmaltz was Windsor because they now have the rights to both brothers, it really didn't matter where they took him because no one else had a shot at signing him. As for Lemieux I think it's a good sign that he fell to the fourth and am happy he reconfirmed his committment to UND on Twitter last night.

You do realize they need to win these games to get into the tournament right? If they don't win they miss the tournament. If they miss the tournament they can't make it to the Frozen Four.
