oh gotcha. fixed it. so where is he now?
and does anyone know where Andy Schneider is?
A buddy of mine who knows Schneider told me that he's done playing hockey. I thought he said he moved to California and got engaged.

Take away JPar's debut AHL game and his numbers are looking very nice:
4-0
1.60 GAA
.953 SV%

Isn't it funny how whenever a team is peaking in November and December, it seems like Don Lucia is involved!

Video finally connected for me.

Is this game supposed to be on FSSN? It's not on in Fargo.

This question is to whoever got tickets already for the tournament:
How did you acquire them? I looked on Ticketmaster and didn't find any.
Also, What is the most feasible way to get to NH? Is it cheaper to fly to Boston and then take a car/train? or just fly directly to NH?
Anybody that has any useful information, I'm open for suggestions and/or advice. This sounds like a good road trip for my dad and I. Thanks.
I called the Dartmouth arena ticket office yesterday - (603) 646-2466. It sounds like there are plenty of seats available. The UND section is in section 20. The lady told me you can order tickets from her or contact UND to get tickets in the same section.

I'm just impressed that we're getting recruits from all over the place.
Soon, we'll have players from as far east as New Brunswick and Connecticut, from as far South as Georgia, and from as far west as California and Alaska!
So much for just the usual of High School, USHL, and BCHL recruiting triangles.

The U18 team plays the Jets on Dec. 2nd, the day after they play the Sioux.
Must be a typo on the FM Jets website? It shows U17.
-
Sioux fans in Fargo will be able to get a look at Kristo & Cichy on Dec. 2nd. The U17 team plays an exhibition against the FM Jets in Fargo.

MAYBEE......
Pretty ironic, I think, that the child of your hero and guy you named your kid after will be skating for the Sioux. Especially considering this series of comments after last year's Frozen Four loss:
The bottom line is that the great sioux SEASON IS OVER!!!!!!!!!...that was a great hit on Prpich I can watch that crushing over and over, man that makes me smile!!!!!!...
season is all over!!!!!!!losers...
Parise looked like crap!!!!!(thats saying it nicely) just like the rest of the sioux, way to blow it again losers two years in a row with nothing.........
SEASONS OVER...
DON,T CRY...
LETS GO BADGERS....DON'T CHOKE LIKE THE SIOUX DO 2 YEARS IN A ROW........
LOVE BEING THE FIRST TO GIVE THE SIOUX SOME S@#$ SEASON IS OVER LOSERS........
So are you jumping ship and declaring your loyalty to the Fighting Sioux?!!!

I will have the number and jersey all ready to go...
Aren't you the guy who made all of those classy posts minutes after the Sioux lost to BC in the Frozen Four in April?
-
You guys need to take off the Green blinders for a while here.
This is a Sioux message board. No we don't!

Genoway with an assist for the Ducks tonight.

Have you noticed the ads?
He's a current Devil.
He's a former Hobey finalist.
He's a former NCAA scoring leader.
He's a former Team USA Under-20 player.
He's not a former player for (must be unspeakable) anywhere, in any ad.
____ Scheel's.
I was at Scheel's today and the big sign in their parking lot describes him as a "Former Fighting Sioux Standout".

According to Schlossman's blog today, Dane Litke and Ian Kallay submitted their applications.

I stumbled across this post-draft article about Kessel. It's pretty entertaining.
Bruins had no choice with fifth pick
The consensus belief was also that Kessel doesn't interview well, and he did nothing to dispel that notion with his brief post-selection chat on TSN. Kessel barely put together audible responses to the questions, his eye contact was uncomfortable and, frankly, he came off in closeups like Garth being accosted by Madonna in Wayne's World. -
Minnesota Golden Gophers
#1 all time in NCAA wins
#1 all time in NCAA tourney appearances
#1 all time in NCAA tourney wins
All time winning record vs. UND
Wow, they should hang a banner in Marriucci for those accomplishments!

The most recent brother tandem I can think of is the Ferraro twins, Chris and Peter, who played for the Rangers, and later on I believe the Penguins. Also in their younger years played for the Waterloo Blackhawks, the same USHL team that JPar played for.
The Niedermayer brothers played in Anaheim this past season.

Hey PCM being your a stats kind of guy. Where does Jordy sit on the all time list? I remember he was going to surpase like 4th or 5th place this past season but I can't remember the exact details. I do know he is up there in Winning percentage, shutouts and GAA.
If my numbers are correct, this is where Parise sits in these career stats categories:
Wins - 2nd (behind Goehring)
Winning % - 3rd (behind Goehring & Kollar)
GAA - 1st
Save % - 1st
Shutouts - 2nd (behind Goehring)

I was listening to the NHL channel on XM radio yesterday, and I didn't catch the guy's name, but he was a guest on Hockey This Morning and some sort of NHL expert. He was also a Blackhawks fan. His comments were that as a Blackhawks fan, he hopes that the team will send Toews back to North Dakota for another season rather than bring him into a bad situation (losing/rebuilding season). Let's hope so.

Kessel?
Let's hope Boston takes him at #5. If so, I think we'll see him with a 'B' on his chest next season, not an 'M'.
