I'm having trouble viewing the video content. I just get a black screen with small horizontal lines. Any suggestions?

Perhaps it's time for Sioux fans to live in the present and not in the past. The whole 7>5 thing and Holy Cross jokes are sounding lamer and lamer everyday. Maybe you folks should focus on winning something. I know the Gophers have a couple new banners and trophies to put on display in the Mecca in the off seaosn. What do you guys have?
Oh yeah, lame old stories and sayings that have run their course.
Hey pstar, do you mean to tell me that Minnesota actually hangs banners for Final Five championships? Do they hang them for DQ cup titles too?

how are the games that are on Cn8.com? pretty good? cost anything?
I watched the Dartmouth tournament on CN8 and I seem to remember the quality being pretty good. I don't think it cost anything.

My Frozen Four tickets came and I was disappointed that both Semifinal games are together. Yes that's right there will be only ticket for the games on Thursday. They due note that you can exit , but must have your ticket scanned before leaving, and scanned again as you re-enter for the second game.
Not sur on how bad the tickets are Sec 316 Row B. Looks like behind the goal line.
Look forward to having fun in St. Louis.
I got tickets in the same exact section and row. Looks like in the corner. Pretty good seats. The Scottrade Center has a seat locator. Here's the link:
Which seats are you? We're in seats 1-4.

5 of the 9 ESPN College Hockey Experts (talk about an oxymoron) pick North Dakota to win the West Regional. 3 of them pick the Sioux to win it all.
-
Interesting stat -- Michigan leads the nation with 14 shorthanded goals!
-
I'm sure it's safe to assume that Fox Sports North will pick up the Gopher's first round game and the regional championship. Does anybody know if they will carry the UND-Michigan game live?
-
I think we're going to have a near replay of last year's West Regional, with Minnesota, Michigan, and North Dakota all getting placed in Denver. I did have Alabama-Huntsville in this region, until I read Moy's Bracketology on USCHO. He thinks Air Force will get place in Denver for attendance purposes. He's probably right.

Sodak Sioux Fan and I will be there, same seats as always. Sect 104 Row 11.
I wear a green geometric logo jersey with 87 on the back. Say hi.
5 rows behind dagies. Same seats as always, along with six other Sioux fans.

oh well, we will end up with a 2 seed, this team is clicking on all cylinders, bring on anyone out there, especially CLARSKON OR the fake azz ND notre dame!!
AZSIOUX, I love the sig line. Somebody should make some "Got Dot?" T-shirts for the Final Five. (With some royalties to Wooger, of course.)

Let's say for argument's sake, that the Sioux finish at #5 in the PWR, with St. Cloud finishing #4. Let's also say that the Sioux beat St. Cloud again in the Final Five. Couldn't the committee give the Sioux the #1 seed based on the fact that St. Cloud hadn't beaten UND in five tries?
Didn't the same thing happen between CC & Denver a few years ago?
-
Denver is slowly slipping into that bubble range in the PWR. They are at #12 right now. Man I'd love to see them miss the tournament again!

First off, I loved the article by Virg Foss. It is right on. McLeod needs to go as even he doesn't have a clue on accountability.
Second, this dynasty thing doesn't phase me. Here's a few reasons why:
1. They are BUILDING a dynasty. That doesn't mean they have it.
2. For the first time in a long time SCSU homers (including their commentators) actually have a team worth getting excited about following.
3. For the first time since last year SCSU has had a coach who can indeed outcoach a coach in the WCHA. Dahl couldn't outcoach Goldie GOpher (forget about Lucia or Hakstol or anyone else).
Let them be excited. They finally have a coach who doesn't suck.
I think their fans have serious reason to be excited about the future too. They've got commitments from Aaron Marvin & Jordy Christian. It also looks like they have 2 of the top 3 scorers on the Salmon Arm team locked up. Plus one of the top scorers in the USHL right now.
I thought Salmon Arm was one our farm teams!

CC scores to make it 2-0 in the second period. 8:27 to go in the second.

That little piece of paper you get when you graduate from Cornell is a pretty significant advantage...having a brother there also helps.

Which current WCHA school have the Sioux played but never beaten in the NCAA tournament?
I'll take a shot. Duluth?
-
Does St. Cloud get an autobid for winning the coveted DQ Cup?
-
How do Ryan's goals compare to the others? I mean are the teams the others scored against 'real' hockey teams or cupcakes? That should count for something. We all know the WCHA is the toughest league in the country so Ryan's goals should be multiplied by 10 at the minimum.
Kind of like Kessel scoring 75% of his goals against Anchorage and winning WCHA rookie of the year? (Thought I'd throw one out there for all the skippies on board)

From CHN, here are the goal leaders after tonight's games:
1 Ted Cook Niagara F So 31
2 Mike Santorelli Northern Michigan F Jr 28
3 Ryan Duncan North Dakota F So 27
Ryan Jones Miami F Jr 27
5 Eric Ehn Air Force F Jr 24
-
Santorelli got 2 more goals tonight and Jones got one also.
-
Anyone know who has the lead for most goals scored in the NCAA this year? "Duncan leads the WCHA with 27 goals" but where does he stand in the nation?
Ted Cook from Niagara - 31 goals (he got another one tonight).
-
North Dakota at #9 in the PWR with a .003 bonus. (There may still be some games not accounted for tonight.)
-
