  1. Our 6:20 am United flight out of Fargo got delayed until 5:00 pm at the earliest (more than likely cancelled) due to 2 flat tires and bad brakes. Probably a good thing the discovered that before we got in the air! Absolutely no way to get to Denver in time for the Sioux-BC game, so we are stuck at home watching the game tonight. Got rebooked on a flight tomorrow. Go Sioux!
  2. I heard from a fairly reliable source that Chorney is gone after the season. I know this isn't shocking news by any means, but after hearing this, I'm no longer holding out hope that he will be back for his senior season.
  3. I got confirmed for both nights at Alpine Valley. Lower Pavillion for the first night and Upper Pavillion for the second. I've been a Warehouse member since 1999 and often get tickets in the first 10 rows. I'm hopeful I'll be close to the stage for the first night.
  4. Anybody else staying at the Adams Mark?
  5. It's on USCHO. Link
  6. I'll be there again with my wife and kids. Booked my flights and room in May 2007. Hope to meet some ss.com members!
  7. I believe that Hakstol has the choice of which bench/locker room his team uses. I think it's usually just a courtesy & unwritten rule that you let the host team keep their normal bench. However, wouldn't it be funny, in light of the fireworks between Hakstol & Eaves earlier this season, if Hakstol put Wisconsin in the visitor's locker room?
  8. Does anybody know if the Denver-Wisconsin game will be live on ESPNU?
  9. I can't believe the empty seats at these regionals. When is the NCAA gonna bring a regional back to the Ralph?
  10. Working great for me.
  11. Wow! MSU scores with seconds left in the 2nd period to go up 3-0.
  12. Awesome! Thanks for posting, RedFrog!
  13. ESPN has their "expert" picks for the Frozen Four posted on their site: ESPN Frozen Four Picks
  14. Oshie had St. Louis trying to get him to sign last offseason, while offering a chance to center a line of a couple guys named Kariya and Tkachuk. What kind of offers did Wheeler have? It was Oshie's choice to come back. I don't recall hearing about Wheeler rejecting an offer to sign with Phoenix.
  15. Actually, I kind of like Kangas.
  16. I would have said Bryan Marshall from Nebraska-Omaha. Set-up guy for Oshie & Duncan?
  17. I agree with Wodon's prediction, except I would swap out Denver-Clarkson and BC-Minnesota for attendance purposes. Unfortunately, I feel the NCAA will favor attendance over bracket integrity and North Dakota will be in Colorado Springs instead of out east where they should be. Here are my picks: Northeast Regional
  18. Looks like he still has the lead in GAA. He dropped to tied for 2nd in SV% (.934) behind Bachman (.935).
  19. CC with the OT win. Testwuide with the game winner.
  20. Denver beats Duluth 1-0. CC & Anchorage in OT.
  21. I found tickets.
  22. If the season ended today, Lamoureux would end up with better career stats for GAA and SV% than Goehring. His current season totals are also better that Goehring's best season (1999-00). Let's just hope his season ends that same way Goehring's did that year!
  23. Interesting to note that the last time a Sioux goalie won the WCHA title was the 1999-00 season.
  24. Allow me to reignite an old argument: Parise 30-30-60 +23 Vanek 27-25-52 -2
  25. RedFrog, I sent you a PM.
