I see that another group is taking to social media to push another logo idea to try to get some momentum, and encourage the university to consider opening up the process to local artists. Personally, I think the one created by geaux_sioux is 100 times better. We need to start pushing this logo through the social media channels as well.

Nobody will ever know, but if I had to guess, I'd say the number is closer to 50% than to the 1-3% that somebody else has suggested.

I also find it hard to believe it will be that hard to get tickets. The 2012 Western Regional final at the X barely had over 10,000 people attend, and that game had a trip to the Frozen Four riding on it.

It kind of blows my mind how giddy some people on this board seem to be with the fact that the new nickname is almost certainly going to be Fighting Hawks. I just don't get it.

A guy that sits by me at the Ralph showed me that proposed Blackhawks logo, and told me that was going to be our new logo when we became the Fighting Hawks. After a while, I finally made him understand that his information was incorrect. I wonder how many people are voting for that name based on that logo.
