UND Lines 19 Evan Trupp

Last night the Fargo Force beat Sioux City 3-1 behind 2 goals by Colten St. Clair and a 19-save performance by Zane Gothberg. The Force are currently tied for first in the Western Conference.

I stopped by and met the guys. They were in great spirits and were very nice. Although I wasn't alive when the 'Miracle on Ice' happened, I have a great amount of respect for the guys who played on that team and for what they accomplished. I enjoyed meeting them and seeing the Gold Medals.

In the past I believe they used Sandstorm by Darude. I don't recall if they still use that song. After all these years of pretty much the same light show I have completely tuned it out.

Warm ups going on now. The white out is decent thus far, especially in the student section. Thundersticks were given to the students and they are already quite rowdy... huge roar when the Sioux stepped onto the ice. Hopefully the boys can score a few early to keep the crowd loud and crazy.
