BTW...the late tripping call on Mac was one of worst calls I've seen at Ralph...and that's saying something! Sadly this is what has become the norm in officiating in the WCHA over the years.

Agree. I have not seen UND Dman let other team forwards walk the puck to the dots without putting a body on them like I did this past series. Simpson though has turned into a very solid dependable Dman. Smart and simple.

That puts Rocco at center which is his natural position. Could work.

If Hak isn't going to play Rocco on top line then Mark Mac w Drake is who Rocco might click. Parks Rowney and Gaarder would be ok as well. Mitch seems to be offensively suited to okay w Kristo on opposite wing.

1st CC goal...Rowney misplays puck in D zone and directs it towards UND net. Winds up on a CC stick. 2nd CC goal....puck loose to left of UND net. Gleason makes move to get it and falls down. CC player there...shot and goal. Still not sure how that one got by Zane.

If UND plays a trading chance for chance series w UM like it did CC they will get worked over badly. UND needs better goaltending and not continued sloppy play in their D zone. Rocco is X factor...right now he is almost a non factor w his spot in the line up. His skill set isn't being utilized in the role he is in currently IMO. I still think he is a good top line fit then get Parks Rowney MarkMac back together with 3rd line of Connor Drake Mitch. O'Donnell got another chance last night and did nothing with it. Gleason at forward I still don't get even though he scored last night.

If we can get 5 other Dman to play like Simpson did this weekend we might have a good chance both nights. He was very solid...the others not so much.

Rocco IMO is misplaced. He needs to play w similar skill. Put him w Kristo and Knight. Get Easy Mac Parks Rowney back together. Then Mitch Drake and Gaarder might work.

At game...was 1st thing my daughter noticed.

Got to have a full grasp of the rules, calls, ect...if you are going to "teach". With what I've witnessed from WCHA refs over the years not sure this is possible.

St Clair seemed to be favoring a leg mid game but didn't notice that as the game progressed.
