Need some help...my daughter and I went to a local fundraising event/silent auction and we bid on 2 Wild tickets for tomorrow's (Sat.) game and we got them. Problem is the tickets were "advertised" as 9th row. 9th row, but in the upper deck as not section was listed at the auction. If I wanted to sell my 2 tickets in front of the X and then buy better seats in the lower bowl, is there a decent "scalpers" market or those looking for or selling tickets? Thanks in advance.

The vote, if tomorrow, IMO wouldn't be close. It would easily make 2/3rds approval. Why? The people of this state do not like their neighbors telling them what to do much less a small band of pompous, society "police" known as the NCAA. People want a voice...more importantly people want their voice to be heard! And this is becoming less and less in today's society. Who has been making all the noise??? How about the PC zealots, the Jeanotte's of UND and the "my feelings are hurt" minority of NA's in this state. IMO without their "noise" a few years back, UND wouldn't be in this situation. Not saying I agree, as I want this nickname mess over, but I can see how many, many people in this state have had it with the NCAA, the bleeding heart NA's and their minority of supporters and the PC crowd telling North Dakotans what to say, speak, think or do. It's going to a statewide vote. I'm going to vote "no" as I just want this over/resolved even though I feel strongly about the nickname and how it's been torn away from UND by all those JA's mentioned above. But all of you remember, we still live in a democratic society and this is not NY or CA. Again, if you were born and raised in ND or live in ND, you should have a pulse on it's people...they don't like to be told what to think, say or do. I hope I'm wrong and for the sake of UND this vote in June doesn't pass, but if I had to put money down, my guess it will and easily.

As I stated in another thread, this whole ongoing nickname issue is turning into a total cluster ____ and is truly a microcosm of our society today and what is soooooooo wrong with this country in it's present state. This poll is on www.cnn.com and I get it isn't official but look at the numbers. This state of ND, right or wrong, will vote to keep the Sioux name in June IMO. Yet a completely rogue and unchecked "club" , the NCAA, has deemed itself jury, judge and executioner on this issue. You now have the Feds legislating/enforcing that churches are required to provide birth control to their employees even though it might be against the church's religious belief/standing. And I could go on with examples after another. It's truly mind numbing to continually watch the ignorant, arrogant, inept, ill-advised and uneducated dictating policy and standards in this country...especially in situations where the majority of citizens voice an opinion otherwise!!! End of rant...flame away.

That's the polite way of saying it. If most people had to continually, and on a daily basis, had to deal with the "general public", most would be shocked at how inept, unaccounatable and delusional most people are. Frickin' unbelievable.

IMO there is very little chance if this goes to a state-wide vote that it gets voted down. As to the 2/3 approval of Benson and Sioux counties, SL tribe in Benson already approved the nickname via their vote so to me what the overall vote within that county is is irrelevant. Only 48% of all the residients in Benson Co. are NA. Sioux county though is another story. There are roughly 4000+ people living in Sioux county with approx. 85% of those being NA. If Sioux county voted with a greater than 2/3 approval, based on the high % of NA's, I wonder how that would be taken or spun to fit the NCAA's requirement of getting both tribes approval?

TPC Scottsdale aren't too bad. Sawgrass greens are brutal. When you hear TV commentators saying that you need to be "below the hole" or on the "right tier" of the green, it's extremely true at Sawgrass. As Gary McCord once said about Augusta, the greens are like they just got a "bikini wax"!

Same guy the past 3 years with his green Sioux hockey jersey on camped on the 16th at the TPC in Scottsdale. Cool to see. Played that course last year for 1st time....looks nothing like on TV, especially 16, without the gladiator arena seating up. 16, 17 and 18 there are 3 really good finishing holes. But they still pale in comparison to 16, 17, and 18 at TPC Sawgrass. Played Sawgrass twice...1st time I played the last 3 holes at -1. 2nd time around on the last 3 holes...+5!!!

Pats vs. NYG today....Giants were at one point 7-7 after a home loss to the Redskins. Their playoffs started in week 16 needing to win their last 2 game to get in. Eli has converted more huge 3rd plays in his last 5 games than any QB I've seen in years. NYG are getting huge turnovers vs. teams that rarely turn the ball over...GB/SF playoff games. Their front 4 is healthy and dominant right now. Their 3 WRs are arguably the best 3 combo in the NFL and NE secondary sucks. NE has Bill and Tom. My head says NYG, my guts says NE. Pats 30-27 in a classic SB.

UMD had to travel to UAA and now back to Duluth. Lost to UAA last night and went 1-2-1 in last 4 vs. Tech and UAA. UND has been playing very solid hockey over past couple months and seems to be finding their groove. Sioux also coming off a bye week getting rest and healing for all, including the silky smooth voice of TH. Getting O'Donnell back would be big as well. Plus UND has a recent history of playing very well at UMD. The stars couldn't have aligned any better for UND this coming weekend IMO. 2 points has to be worst case next weekend for this club as they continue to make a move into the NCAA tourney field.

Saw it "live" on the BTN and replay via Goon's World...horrible call. After seeing Buckey repeatedly check the Sioux from behind ;ast weekend with nothing more than 2 minutes minors, then to blow this nasty, but clean hit is just continued incompetence by WCHA officials. SCSU kid really got lit up but Ramage lead with his shoulder. Not his fault the SCCU kid had his head down...but that's what made it look really bad on live TV.

Because the total a** kicking SU would receive from OU would remove all the visions of rainbows, dewey meadows, unicorns and fluffy bunnies that that fanbase is also delusional with!

Suprised to see BE in net. Dell gave up a softie but 2 of the 3 were flukey goals last pm. Gleason at center...most underrated and underappreciated UND player in a long, long time. Doesn't matter where he plays, he contributes and makes plays. One of the best skaters UND has had in some time as well. Would feel better about a sweep if Dell was in net...BE prove me wrong. Still like the Sioux 4-2.

This game reminds me of the 2 games UND lost at WI earlier this year....poor defensive play by UND with bad bounces to boot.

Is Cundiff an alum of Boise St.? I haven't seen a shank like that since I knocked one off the hosel with a LW in 4" rough in early June!

This team continues to miss opportunities to bury golden chances. That has to change if they have any chance to make the field of 16.

SIOUX win! What a game. Shep was he usual self with the piss poor call with 3 minutes left. Tying goal with 30 seconds left a no-goal as it was kicked in. UND was skating fumes the last 5-6 minutes. WOW...WHAT A GAME AND WIN.
