Diversion...no. Dam type system...no. Retention ponds...no. The work needs to be done to the south of Fargo but landowners that way don't won't anything done. And now we also have to worry about those to the north?? But it's OK for Fargo to have to deal with this annually? No easy solution but an issue that needs a solution soon. I get tired with the "I am 100% opposed" crowd who bring no other alternative idea/plan to the table.

Great...bring another potential solution forward then. Don't think for a second some of the recent flooding issues aren't directly due to farmers south of Fargo along the Red and their years of unchecked drainage practices. Works both ways.

The zero points surprises me, but not the -7. IMO he is not above average defensively and on a bad team.

This...^^^^^^^^. Since Natty's, from what I have read on this site, come down to getting hot at the right time and/or getting bounces, I would say this season wasn't a disaster. I would say this though...on a nightly basis this team generally underperformed as to the talent that took the ice. Not all of this comes down to the coaches, but quite a bit of it does. 6 Dman all drafted. 2 top 10 Hobey candidates. A healthy Rocco. They were far from talent poor yet looked disinterested, unmotivated and undisciplined way too often.

Red to crest in Wahpeton late Monday at predicted 16.5'. 3' lower than '09 record. Not a linear correlation to Fargo but good news nonetheless.

Dean got a Natty w Jordan. Just saying... Of all UND players to have gone pro at any level, Mario would have been one of the last I would have guessed in "Who is going to break out offensively when they go pro?" Again mindboggling...just like when I went to get groceries Saturday and now they have Mega Stuff Oreos. And I thought the Double Stuff concept was absolutely genius!!!

Agree, but how many times did an opponent's forward walk it in to the dots or below before any pressure/contact was made by our Dman. Never have seen that in watching UND hockey in all my years.

Add in the fact most nights all 6 Dman on the ice were NHL draft picks.

This is probably true, but I recall some, including myself, wondering if Mario could score on a breakway with no goalie in place while at UND. His offensive explosion in the E is mindboggling to me. Never would have guess he would put up these type of numbers after watching him at UND for 4 years. Kudos to him.

So let me get this straight...in almost everyone of your posts in response to one of mine, you use the words hate and/or ignorance and/or racism. But because those are your opinions of me, who you do not know, that OK? They are not "extreme examples" and you sure weren't being "childish" because again that's your take. Yesterday early evening based on exchanged posts between us, I saw you and I going down a path we didn't need to go down. I said it might be best that you and I both let things go (Post #140) but yet you continued to charge forward and attack. (Post #143). That kind of "smacks of an a**h*le". Not calling you names because there is a difference and you should be able to see that as you explained it to me earlier.
