Was at that game...totally agree. But new year and early in the season so who knows?? If UND plays both games like last Friday I like their chances.

Heagle is an absolute stud. IMO was easily their best player during SU's run last year. No offense to the 2 corners down south but Heagle is/was the dude. To be able to replace him to injury and not miss a beat says alot.

Trust me on this one...nothing in pipeline even close.

Let's split the difference between our current clip of 39 a game. I'd take a drop to 26/game in a heartbeat.

NDSU is gona have a shot to win it again due to one thing...it's D. Their offense is average at best IMO but they can run the ball to control the clock most games. Their D is arguably the best in FCS and truly sets them apart. UND used to have a similar formula in the early 2000.

I think the product on the field and the results are a better indication of what's going on with the state of this program compared to what may or may not be being said in the locker room by a coach or players.

Not saying that isn't the case, but Muss then needs to stop with all the other garbage he spews post game after a loss then.

Apathy to mediocrity is in bloom here with this program. The Muss-isms are starting to spread from the top down with this program and take hold unfortunately. That fact that we have been close in a few games and lost seems to soften the blows of getting destroyed by EWU and MSU. Seems coaches, players and fans are becoming "OK" with 5-6 or 6-5 as long as they think and can justify in some small way that this team and program is/are making positive strides. Outside of last year, mediocrity is the new normal under Muss.

Muss on what happened vs. Cats..."Tough to put your finger on it.". Least he got that right. After a 55-10 drubbing, he would need an extra pair of hands to put fingers on all that went wrong.

When Hak moved Rocco w Knight and Kristo late in game and in OT it was a total mismatch with chances all over the place. Reminded me in talent of DOT line to an extent. O'Donnell isn't the answer on that top line.

Just another opportunity for Muss and staff to prove that maybe they can coach and motivate a team.

Muss will be here thru his contract extension regardless IMO. My guess is we lose next Saturday but sneak by UNC to end on a "high" note. With a RS Fr. QB next yr, it's gona be tough sledding even if the D improves alittle bit. The following year it needs to all come together if Muss has any chance of going beyond his current deal.
