As many have said Bartels 2nd half of play was better than ANY half Joe has played this season to date. Do I dislike Joe...no but this isn't Instagram or Facebook. He turns the ball over too much, takes too many unneccessay sacks and misses too many open throws. Was Bartels perfect? Far from it but a QBs job is to protect the ball and produce TD drives...he did both of those things.

Joe has a body of work thru 6+ games. If you have watched him play multiple games, you know the answer to your initial question. I don't deal in hypotheticals............and I doubt Bubba does either.

Body of work for Joe...'nuf said. "Complete control" with out producing a TD...no thanks. Joe hasn't been "pretty damn good" all season...you of all people should have the sense to recognize that. He has been a TO machine all season. And to your 2nd sentence...#buttpractice...Ryan made plenty of good throws yesterday. Joe might practice well per some insiders but definitely has a tough time translating it games.

I feel bad for Joe but that did make me chuckle.

Any passengers that are outed after this series, regardless of class, need to sit for a long time. Need effort from 18 skaters, not 13 or 14, both nights. Time for OD, Parks and Mac to show up. Murphy better sit. Chyzyk and St. Claire better play. I'll take a split after the play from UND in the BSU series.

If I take 6 exams and average a C in those 6 exams then take a quiz and get a B+.....I'm not a B+ student.

Everything about Bubba as a coach at this point screams "Team"...thus I'd be shocked Joe starts in 2 weeks.

"Pretty well" without punching in TDs isn't what this team needs IMO. Bubba goes back to Joe in 2 weeks and he plays at best oretty well but the team gets beat I think Bubba could find a lockroom somewhat divided. Is Bartels the QB we will see the rest of this season after a half+? Not sure but I'm pretty sure I know who Joe is after 6+ game to date and I'll roll with Bartles at this point

Bartles knows how to get rid of the ball when in trouble and not take an unnecessary sack...BTW the international grounding call on him yesterday was the worst of many poor calls against both teams.

Joe has a body of work that includes 6 games this season plus "getting in a rhythm" for a quarter and change yesterday... BTW without leading a TD drive. Bartles came off the bench...no meaningful snaps to date this season...with his team behind and lead them down the field 2 straight times to open the 2nd half for TDs to take the lead. This team doesn't need a QB to occasionally get "in rhythm", they need a QB to engineer TD drives...even without a productive running game and playing behind a D2 OL. IMO Bartles gets these next 2 weeks to prepare as the #1 and he is your starter coming off the bye week.

Bubba has the team...and fans believing. That never happened under Muss. I had fun at the game today......

To your last point...agree. Bryn and Colton play hard and fast. If OD is going to continue to play he IMO is a fit with those 2 to form a solid 3rd line. I liked Bryn and Colton a lot when they played together last season.

His best called game this year. Rushing for 2 ypc was palatable because UND threw on first down so there were a few 2nd and 2. He mixed it up well today.

Colton IMO is a difference maker every game just because of his work ethic alone. Listened to game...how did Poolman and Olson look? Not much from TH on them. Pogs in for who? I do like Thompson's skill set a lot.

2-1 UND wins. Good road victory.

I hear ya...and to be honest MM has a little of that creepy Ron Jeremy quality to him to boot.
