Maybe we did, but he wanted to carve his own path in college...similar to what Mac Swanson did even though his dad was a star at CC.

Stonehill only won 2 games all of last season. They just won their first game of this season...in their first game...an OT win against Merrimack. SCSU up on STU, 1-0, after one.

This is somewhat surprising. CC has nabbed a couple recruits this recruiting cycle that certainly could have come to UND with Lincoln Kuehne and now TJ Hale.

Zellers is the real deal. Can't wait to see him in a UND uniform.

This game happened about a year ago: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/box/final/20231027/aug/den/ Augie tied DU at Magness (in a game that mattered) and even scored 5 goals on Frozen Four MVP Matt Davis. DU's season ended up ok for them...so I have hope that UND can turn this one around as well.

-Just so many poor choice / blind passes to nobody that killed rushes and turned it over to Augie. -Berg had the nice PP snipe but otherwise not much -Swanson looked good for game #1...I think he'll be a special player for 3-4 years in a UND uni -there is offensive skill on this team, they only seemed to appear for that one 2-3 min spurt...players like OMac, Perron, James, Strinden need to up their game from last year if this team wants to still be playing in April -TJ had an ok first game I thought...the nice breakaway save...might have wanted to control the rebound on that 1st goal better...but otherwise seemed capable Rough first game, but hopefully this team can turn it around quick, fix some issues, and come out with some fire against Providence.

Crazy ending in the ASU/AF game. ASU scores with less than a min left in the game to pull ahead 3-2, but Air Force scores 30sec later to tie, then wins it in OT.

DU with four PPG's against UAA to lead them 5-1 after 2.

The longer, the better...technically.

4-1 FINAL Croal showed some speed at the end. Overall a turd of an exhibition. Not going into panic mode but that was pretty brutal.

Yeah, I'm not too troubled with an exhibition loss, but the manner in which they are doing it doesn't give a lot of optimism for the next couple weekends against much better opponents. Perhaps the players are really buying into that "build up for a March/April peak"

With how much some posters complained about those two last year, you'd think we'd be much better off without them.

That might be taking it a bit far. But to each their own.
