Hopefully he sticks around for another year. IMO he could really develop into one of, if not the, best college hockey player during his junior season. He certainly has the ability to do so. I would imagine that playing with your brother is an appealing option, but then again, so is money and the chance to play in the NHL this season. We'll see what happens during the course of the next few weeks. But I really hope that we don't lose Smaby, Stafford, and Zajac this off-season. That is 3 quality players to replace.

Yeah, I heard that as well. The coaches were smart to bring Darcy in next season. Let's hope it works. Plus, it would only be that much more confusing for Woog having two Zajac's on the team.

We can only hope that Irmen and Potulny will be gone after this season. They certainly are having good enough years to leave early. I don't expect any freshmen to leave for the Sioux, but I wouldn't be surprised if we lost the trio in Stafford, Smaby, or Zajac. I hope that we can keep one (maybe two...crosses fingers) of those 3 players.

What's with Eaves and his pressuring? Doesn't seem like the best recruiting technique. Maybe that is why Wisco lost the Kessel battle.

I'd be up for it too. I wouldn't be able to make the Fri morning one though, as I will be driving in from Madison at that time. Sat morning would work better for me.

That is hopefully a good sign for Drew and the Sioux. I would love it if he was able to play at the Final Five, but if there is a chance to reinjure it, having him wait until the Regional might be best. Speed recovery Drew!
