Updated Commit List as of Aug 25th: Added Grubb to the list. A blue-chip D & F would really make this a great recruiting class...let's see who the coaching staff can pull. Article said he's back at SSM this year. Wonder where he'll go after that. He'll have options! Judging by his numbers, seems to be a nice setup guy...he was piling up the assists at the Four Nations as well.
-
Now...can UND re-establish the SSM connection and grab one or two of his SSM linemates from the Four Nations tourney?
-
Nice. Best “local” kid. I’ll take it. Welcome aboard!
-
Great get for them but figured he would stick with one of the Boston schools.
-
Dang a Sunday afternoon Bat Signal?
-
Hey a non-MN kid. They're really branching out.
-
You'll have to look back pretty far to find our last player commitment. Almost a full 24 hours!

Updated Commit List as of Aug 20th: A couple of the players still aren't confirmed for where they are playing for 25/26, but most should be accurate. Forwards Pilgrim (USHL Tri-City) - '06: 0gp - 0g/0a Schultz (USHL Chicago) - '06: 0gp - 0g/0a O'Neill (WHL Edmonton) - '07: 0gp - 0g/0a Sanderson (USHL Muskegon) - '07: 0gp - 0g/0a Simpson (USHL Youngstown) - '07: 0gp - 0g/0a Jundt (WHL Calgary) - '08: 0gp - 0g/0a Williams (WHL Saskatoon) - '08: 0gp - 0g/0a DeMars (WHL Penticton) - '09: 0gp - 0g/0a McKamey (WHL Victoria) - '09: 0gp - 0g/0a Defensemen MacKenzie (WHL Edmonton) - '06: 0gp - 0g/0a Lindberg (USHL Fargo) - '07: 0gp - 0g/0a Goalies Heil (USHL Madison) - '06: 0gp - .000 / 0.00 (0-0-0)

Dang that kid played 4.5 seasons in the WHL. Should do well for WMU as an overage FR that put up solid points in juniors.
-
Would be a monster pickup. Cmon Bryn, close it.

I was hoping it would be someone that just finished playing at the Hlinka. So any of those guys.
-
That article mentioned that Kernan has made a good first impression with his teammates at UND...and also that Beuker visited here as well.
-
Oh man. Finally!

Schloss wrote an article after the event: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-officials-explain-how-the-school-uses-nil-to-community-leaders Assuming it was Reschny that got the big offer from a B10 school.

Dang, now that's a job title. "Hey Peter, what are you up to?" "Oh, I'm the new GM of NIL comprehensive strategies and post-NCAA House settlement realities at DU!"
-
I'm sure he got something, but if Michigan went crazy on NIL with him, they'd be crazy. He didn't hit 20pts in either of his first two NCAA seasons and is a defensive liability. That's not the type of player you drop heavy NIL for, but who knows.
-
Yes very interesting for sure. He had a good season for the Steel, but didn't exactly dominate. Will be interesting to see how he acclimates to the NCAA game. Can't imagine that he'd play a top 6 role for Mich this season.
-
Two UND guys and like 4 others that would look great in a UND uni as well.
-
Harper and SGC would be great additions from the US team. Also, hopefully Cooper and Keaton were doing some recruiting for UND on some of those Canadian boys...would love to add a couple more from that group.
-
Chances that we'll see our first commit for this recruiting cycle tomorrow?

These articles on Verhoeff vs McKenna for #1 are coming fast n furious now. Here's a couple more. I can't wait to see this guy suit up this season. Philly Flyers article on the two: https://phillyhockeynow.com/2025/08/14/gavin-mckenna-or-keaton-verhoeff-would-either-complete-the-flyers-rebuild/ And Hockey Writers calls Verhoeff a generational defensive talent: https://thehockeywriters.com/2026-draft-eligible-keaton-verhoeff-is-a-generational-defensive-prospect/
