  4. It was a Gaber-esque goal. There's a thread over on the Community section about the WJC tourney: https://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/34502-2023-world-junior-championship/
  5. Blue chippah
  6. USA wins 5-2 over Finland.
  7. He got it from Gaber's spot on the PP.

  9. Yeah, I tend to agree...especially when the coach is Serratore...they have a good working relationship with the BSU staff. Now, if Pohlkamp opens his recruiting back up and UND pitches to him after that...then maybe. It's a fine line, but I doubt Berry and Co will actively try to get to him if he's committed to BSU.
  10. We'll need to stay sharp against Lindenwood. DU is outshooting them by almost 30 sog, but they're hanging a bit too close for comfort for the six DU fans out there.
  11. BSU gives UND an early Christmas gift by sweeping MSUM. That enables UND to jump over both of them (and WMU) in the PWR and moves UND to #21. Thank you to the Beavers!
  12. The new Through These Doors has an in-depth look at all the new weight room improvements at REA. Pretty incredible stuff from the high altitude room to all the new high-tech equipment and recovery area. I can't imagine there are many NHL arenas that have this type of area available to them...let alone college arenas:
  13. BSU wins in OT, 4-3 That moves UND down one spot in PWR to #24, with BSU #21 and MSUM #22 now.
  14. https://teamusa.usahockey.com/news_article/show/1251670 Livanavage with 3a in 3 games...Swanson with 1a so far. Strathmann is also there...no points thus far but he is leading the tourney in PIM.
  15. In this scenario are we Holy Cross, or is RIT?
  16. CC got CHN's team of the week: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2022/12/13_Team-of-the-Week-Colorado.php Cool to see CC getting back to a contender. I'd much rather them make the NCAA tourney than say, Duluth. Kaidan Mbereko appears to be the real deal for them in net...he'll be a force for them for a few years.
  17. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-hockey-completes-nonconference-schedule-for-next-two-seasons?fbclid=IwAR1VZWgSziD-e6O48QnVzt1jOCouyvc__MkE0Q6L9GtGq3-YEC1Zzg0MiHw Playing Robert Morris for the 24/25 season.
  18. But most definitely need a sweep of Lindenwood. Regulation wins. Anything less would probably be a death blow to PWR similar to Canisius sweeping us a few years ago.
  19. 6-2 or 5-3 in those 8 games keeps moving us in the right direction.
  20. Completely agree. January is huge. 8 games and all of them very winnable if the team plays like they did against WMU. February is a much tougher schedule (four games against DU and SCSU who both swept UND earlier), so if they're gonna move up the PWR and NCHC standings, they need a big January.
