CHN ranked their top 10 recruiting classes for this year: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2023/10/02_CHNs-Top-10-Recruiting-Classes.php UND is listed as a "honorable mention" and only brings up Perron & Livanavage. I would take our class over a couple of those in the Top 10, especially when you consider that they didn't even mention Wiebe, Emerson, Hedquist, or Benoit.

I would bet that UND has a better shot at winning the league than UMD does at finishing third or higher.

Next year's BU team could make some history in having the #1 and #2 pick on their team from the next draft. That'd be pretty impressive for college hockey. I'm guessing Celebrini would play 2 years at BU even if selected #1 overall, simply due to his age. I think I read that he's the youngest player in college hockey this season.

Loading up on those 4* recruits that will stick in college hockey for 3-4 seasons instead of 1-2 seasons like the 5* recruits.

Wish he had expanded on that as well. Less timeouts per period, but they are longer duration. That should definitely benefit teams like UND that are deeper than others.

Coaching staff has had an excellent run here the last couple months. Great recruiting cycle for them thus far!

Agreed. Some very nice recruits that could all play 3-4 seasons of college hockey.

A cherry on top of this news would be if Mooney committed to UND today.

All of a sudden, BC and BU are bringing in a boatload of very elite talent the next couple years. Celebrini. Hagens. That whole line of NTDP at BC this year. Now Eiserman flips? Are any of these players gonna play more than 1-2 years of college hockey? Doubtful IMO.
