Playing on the top line gives Kozek more of a chance to unleash that heavy shot. He has more space as teams focus on Osh and Dunc. Miller does not really command any attention. He has not proven he can score goals and is not able to make teams pay like kozek can.

I agree, a bad play by Finley but all is forgotten at this point.

Radke has not been taking the dumb penalties and deserves to be in the line up. This is not a real physical Sioux team and he brings that element. I think Marto should be the 6th d but that is just me.

Marto is a very good skater and can recover well. All things equal he is ahead of LaPoint.

Finley is solid. He has improved a ton and is s very good defender. As fans it is very easy to criticize these guys but man when you sit close to the ice you really gain an appreciation as to how good these guys really are. The way these guys can skate is incredible. Finley had a bad game vs DU but he had a good game this afternoon. He is not physical ala Matt Greene, but is solid.

That was pretty much the story of the game. The Sioux had over 3 minutes on 5 on 3 and were unable to convert. That was a big factor in the game. I hate losing to DU!!

Hopefully we will bring out the black Nike Swifts tomorrow as we will be the road team!

Exactly!! He was in position but did nothing!! Just gave the DU player time and space to get the shot off. It was like he just backed away.

Gophs deserved the game, usually the team playing the best gets the so called bounces and that was the Goofs. Hoeffel is going to be a force the next few years. He is a big strong kid with skill. Very disappointing today but I will be back at the X for the tilt tomorrow. Sioux need to play with a little more fire. Please sit Miller! i don't mean to be hard on the kid but I would rather see Radke out there. Put Kozek back on the top line and let Radke be a physical presence out there.

Brad Miller is nowhere near a top line player. I just don't understand him playing there. The Sioux have a serious lack of scoring depth made worse without Trupp. Our third and fourth lines are basically no threat to score. In the playoffs you need scoring depth as opposing teams will key on your best players, anyone knows that. Zajac? Frattin? Malone? Martens? Miller? these guys cannot put the puck in the net and I think ultimately the lack of dcoring depth eill be our down fall. On a positive note TJ Oshie is unreal, he is so much better than any forward we have it is not even close. I don't think we have to worry about Duncan leaving early. I don't see any offers coming his way after this year.

Not a good game for Finley. i do not understand what he was thinking on the rush for the last DU goal...the guy is 6 feet 7 and did not even attempt to poke check the puck. He just let the DU player wheel right in and roof one. A horrible defensive play.

A bad loss!! But I did not want to go into the postseason riding this long unbeaten streak. There was no excuse to lose this game. I mean come on it was a big lack of focus in the third period and overtime. However, get the job done tomorrow night and all will be forgotten.

They should make that guy from UNH have to appear in person. He can pay his own way and stay at the Select Inn.
