Have heard a few things about not looking for a scholarship QB. That's not to say they couldn't change their minds, but I've heard PWO type QB is likely it. EDIT: And, main reason is what Gundy is saying above. The Rugby Rifle was really developing during the year.

I could see him being a safety with a role as a WR on the offense in certain situations. Agree that he doesn't seem to have the knack for a RB, but if they keep him there maybe that will come.

Couple random things: I'd heard Arnell had discussed a medical redshirt - not sure the likelihood but seems like he'd have a good shot. Bowling Green could be a different team. Even though he's denying it (and the UCF job, where he was heavily rumored, went to Scott Frost), Dino Babers could very well end up elsewhere. It could depend on who they hire to see if they are still the same high octane offense. Looking forward to next year

One thing to consider when thinking about Bowling Green next year and the potent offense - with all the openings around the country it's not too far fetched that Dino Babers may not be at BG next year and depending on the replacement their offense may not be as high octane.

But they would only have 6 D1 wins, and it's hard to put them in with so many other teams out there with 7 D1 wins. Stranger things have happened, I know, but it just feels like a win or go home for them - I think a lot of things need to happen for them to be in consideration if they lose.

For the first round it does matter I believe. SDSU and NDSU always met in the second round.
