I am all for the more "Free Flowing Game", but alot of the calls we a joke... So is the 4 ref system going to be there all year, or just the first few months again? It just seems like every other minute there is a penalty called...It was getting ridiculous

Looking forward to a Sioux Sweep... We need to stay out of the box, when does the Ref schedule come out? Any chance we can get D. Sheppard this weekend to ref the games??? I was in Mankato for the Sioux Series and some of the calls were a joke... Rich T

Yep, this one had all the makings... As the horn sounded, and the mini brawl started...Then came the bottles, finally I had to remind myself Oh ya, were in Mankato... Classy Fans, real classy... All the players at the scrimmage game were great! I was out bid (barely) on 2 Former Sioux Jersey's, but stayed around to speak to JPL, Chorn's and Bina... I had the players grab some pucks out of the net's and got them to sign a few autograph's...Greene had a silver marker, so I had to con him into borrowing it so I could get a few other sig's...JPL is the MAN!!! Greene is a Monster, and JPL looked good. There were some pretty awesome saves, even though it was a 6-4 final... The kid from the Wild looked really quick. Jones looked good too...I was a little suprised with Bina, he looked a little lost during the scrimmage. I'm sure it was just an off day/practice... Some kid (Fitzpatrick) "maybe" also looked good... Note to the players at the camp, work on your PK's...The shoot out at the end was quite the stale mate...

For my first year at Fantasy College Hockey I did ok...Second to last behind goon...

I bring it up only to stir the pot a bit...Not a negative stir, but so that some of the players can prove us wrong...6 weeks before the 07-08 season ended Finley I was sure was all but gone...He looked out of it late and I am actually really happy to have his leadership back in 08-09... I have only been following The Sioux since 04 but, is Hak in jeopardy of his job if he don't make it past the Frozen Four first game? I have lifelong Sioux Friends that say he could be... This makes no sence to me, I mean four straight Frozen Fours...Has UND ever done this before? Have we ever had such great talent year after year like we have the last 4??? Just curiuos... Rich T

Ahhhhhhhh the off season...I love all the different opinions... It's great Bar Talk...I especially love the Brian Lee talk...Or Greico... I wonder who this years goat will be...Not that Geico (sp) was a goat last year, but whatever...with the way the forum is going I guess it will be a goalie talk year... Rich T

The reason Walski didn't play last year was because JPL was on fire...He kept us in games with huge saves on 2 on 1's, 3 on 1's and so on... JPL bailed the Sioux out of many games when they were outnumbered sometimes 8-3 in power play disadvantages...That is why Walski sat...JPL was a senior and deserved every start (IMO)... At the time I liked Hak's decision to start JPL all season, and still do now too...I think worry about next season, next season... For the record I have been following the Sioux since 04, that is when I came to GF...Hak has been to 4 straight Frozen Fours...Whatever he decides to do, I totally agree... "Hak 4 Prez"... Rich T
