Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe those jersey's were worn only in the Hall of Fame game against UMD, then auctioned off. However, the last time I was in the Pro Shop at Engelstad Arena, they still had some new ones on hand. The throwback jerseys with the old Blackhawk logo were worn during the exhibition game against Manitoba in 2001, the final game in the old Ralph.

In a radio interview with Tim Hennessy the other day, Zach said he'd talk with his father about his decision to go pro after the season is over. There doesn't seem to be much point in speculating when not even he knows what he's going to do.

I said in another thread that I thought Frank and Doug did a pretty good job this weekend, other than the constant fawning over Ballard and the swipes at Parise. Woog obviously has great knowledge of the game and I have commended him for that in the past. He also pokes fun at himself and is sometimes unintentionally funny. That makes him enjoyable to listen to.

You mean like when he tried to paint Parise as a goalie runner? I'm sure all Sioux fans appreciated that as much as his "phantom assists" in Grand Forks comments.

One other thing: It sure would have been nice if Red Baron had come up with more than one TV commercial so that we didn't have to see it five dozen times.

I found myself wondering if Woog was right about the Sioux defense being focused on Keith Ballard. Other than the constant praise for Ballard and Woog's effort to set up Zach Parise as a goalie runner, I thought they did a decent job.

I guess it depends on your point of view. I think it's rather harsh to prevent new people from signing up and participating in discussions based on the assumption that they're going to cause trouble. I don't question POI's right to do that, but I do believe it's going too far.
