Not everyone said that. I thought Ryan Miller had a good shot to win the Hobey because he pretty much rewrote the NCAA record book for goalies that season. If Gionta had won it over Miller or Panzer, that would have been a travesty.
I read something a few days ago in the Herald saying that search efforts would resume now that most of the snow has melted. There's still quite a bit of snow in the ditches and shelter belts, which makes searching those areas difficult.
That is a good point. Nearly all the top prospects would go to major juniors and wouldn't even consider the college route. Be careful of what you wish for.
