Was hoping aumer would get hot but not so far

Tied after 1st qtr trying to be happy but we have six stupid/ lazy turnovers stupid

Expectations almost everywhere are higher than 36% on the average. There will be some low offset by some high years. We are missing the high years lately. My expectations are also higher because I can see other teams like Omaha this year succeeding. I believe they were picked last preseason but their coach put together a (so far) successful season. Why can’t we? I see ndsu succeeding. Why can’t we? Why does sdsu succeed? Why can’t we? Interesting question. Not sure I answered it but it made me think

Plain to see that folks are happy with the pairwise. I was just generating discussion to get a feel. Thanks personally I feel the pairwise is the best of all options though a team like Notre dame probably wouldn’t have made the tournament in football this year with the early season bad loss. I understand that many think they shouldn’t have but I would respectfully disagree. I appreciate all the responses - thanks again

Yes - I just want the rankings to reflect reality. I understand there is no magic formula. I also don’t understand all the math that goes into the pairwise. At a previous job we were tasked to come up with a purely 100% metric that included no subjective variable for a bonus plan. We never did come up with one that all thought was fair because of various attitude, work ethic, unique types of projects and customers. Am sure others figured it out but we always ending up with some subjective.

Personally I don’t see a need to disrespect and pile on to a players name. Might not have had the results we wanted and that is open game. just me

I don’t like the pairwise. Especially when it works against us! should add that there always needs to have a human subjective element that just pure numbers can’t replicate

What changed with track and field? We definitely have gotten more competitive.

Is the pairwise fair? Is it the best way to determine rankings? Sometimes I have my doubts. A team at the beginning of the year can be very different than at the end.

For, what it appears most here, let’s hope Hobie lives up to all the hype. fir me, I don’t see much separation between our goalies but I never played hockey and have an untrained eye.

A guy can do all things with numbers. for instance larkins averages 24 points. I guy could say that if we hold her to her average we win by 5. truth is with most games it is a combination of things that determines the winner. Turnovers certainly were a big part.

We lost by ten and we missed 10 free throws. we gave up half of their points to Larkin -39 points.
