  1. I agree. The Big Lebowski is one of the best and most quotable movies of all time. How many international fan festivals has the Hangover had? The Big Lebowski has had four every year for the past 12 years in nearly every major city in the country. The 2009 Lebowski Fest in Great Britain drew upwards of 40,000 fans. Now that's a movie. "This aggression will not stand, man."
  2. How about the North Dakota Tundra. Referring to both the desolate landscape around Grand Forks (Green in the Summer, White in the Winter), and the Tundra Swan which is a prominent bird in North Dakota. A logo could incorporate both of these things. Similar to the Minnesota Wild Logo incorporating the landscape with the colors green and red, as well as a bear head. I also like nicknames that don't end with an "S".
  3. I could sell you some property in downtown Detroit if you are interested. Very Cheap.
  4. I remember that article that you wrote and I remember how disgusted I was when I read it. I applaud Jeanotte for what he did. I've re-read some of your previous posts and it's obvious to me how extremely xenophobic you are. Example: "If I want diversity, I'll go eat at Juano's downtown", "To who? Almost exclusively to grad students and students who arrive from outside the state and country...mostly though to foreign students", "You don't think there are American students being passed over for foreign students for the sake of diveristy, multiculturalism, blah, blah, blah". And these were the quotes from just one topic. I won't even get into some of the things you have said about Native Americans on this forum. I should have put two and two together and realized that you were the same one that wrote that article. I won't give your name on this forum, but as an optometrist in the city of Fargo, you should be ashamed of some of the things that you have said. I am a family care physician in Fargo and 50% of my patients are from the minority Latino and East African populations. A certain level of compassion and understanding for those less privileged than us comes with being a medical professional, and it's obvious that you lack that sense. You need to be responsible for the things you write. I hope someday that you will change your viewpoints on these populations that you serve, at least for the sake of your patients.
  5. Thanks for your opinion Glenn Beck. Stereotyping offers so much on this forum. You should be commended. I hope your show continues to do well.
  6. Yeah, because Bushies 22% approval rating was so much better
  7. Forget Reagan, This is what you want.
  8. Here's a link to the highlights from the game. Monique's fight is at the end of the highlights. She is #7. http://www.ctvolympics.ca/video/index.html...b6-51d3d0cd3728
  9. But I responded first!
  10. I'll take them marknrichter@gmail.com
  11. It seems that that this fine University just can't seem to get it right. This is about Social Justice, and UND needs to take action immediately. http://www.grandforksherald.com/articles/index.cfm?id=74471
  12. For those of you who are going to be in town for this weekend's games, here's where the "official" gathering will take place according to the alumni association: Fan Gathering in Boston for UND Hockey Weekend Friday, Oct. 19 vs. Boston College Eagles Saturday, Oct. 20 vs. Northeastern University Huskies Pre- and Post-game Party at: Red Hat Bar & Grill 9 Bowdoin Street Boston, MA 02114 617-523-2175 www.BostonRedHat.com Quaint, neighborhood
  13. If anyone knows of any Sioux hockey fan gatherings in the Boston area, the info would be much appreciated. I would rather not have to resort to watching the game with a bunch of BC fans, although it would be fun to rub the victory in their face.
  14. Someone needs to get their butts kicked over this TV feed that is supposed to be in Fargo
  15. I just wanted to share a little secret with the rest of you. I am a senior at UND and like a lot of you I have attended every game since I can remember. I was fortunate enough to have obtained a lower bowl season ticket this year, but I was not so fortunate last year. Each and every game last year I was forced to buy an upper bowl student ticket and fight for a seat close to the front. Here's something a few of you just might want to try. I would sit in the upper level during the first period and look down into the lower bowl student section to see what students didn't show up for the game and left their seat open. During the first intermission I would then go down into the lower bowl because they are done checking tickets by then, and sit in one of the seats that I saw was open. It worked every game last year because there were always students who didn't show up, and with the way that they handled ticket distribution this year, I would imagine there will be alot of open seats.
  16. Where did you here this and what exactly is the date that you can stand in line and that they go on sale? Are you talking this Friday?
  17. I just spotted this on USCHO, way to break the story PCM, looks like the sioux will lose another star player. Here's the link: http://www.uscho.com/news/2004/07/26_008612.php
  18. The UND-gopher games were on in bismarck. The friday night game was tape delayed until 3 am and the saturday game was on live. I assume the final five will be on television since we have fox sports net north that broadcasts all of the gopher games and the final five
  19. I totally agree with you gopherguy05, maroon is a very difficult word to spell. But you do root for the gophers so why don't you put on that wig and fake breasts and show us all what it takes to be a gopher fan.
  20. Hey everybody I'd just thought I'd post this very cool article that was posted on NHL.com about former Sioux Jason Blake. It look's like he is really stepping up and making a name for himself in the NHL. http://www.nhl.com/intheslot/read/features...lake010703.html
  21. Hey regardless of whether DeMarchi pulls his usual cheap stuff or not, I say that Matt Greene pounds the crap out of him just out of principle. With that being the case, let's all hope that Greene like's the Elton John song "Saturday Night's All Right For Fighting" and chooses to open up a can on live TV. That way he'll only be sitting for the first game at Alaska. Ho, Ho, Ho Greene Giant
