  1. I would'a thrown stuff too if I had to sit through the Bjorkman era.
  2. You were talking about opportunities for great games and fun experiences for the alumni. You lose. Good day sir.
  3. Remember, this already happens three out of every four years for our alumni.
  4. Colorado, Syracuse, and UNLV are significant upgrades compared to the MAC schools, Florida Atlantic, etc. so I'm going to cut Brewster a break on this one. http://www.gophersports.com/SportSelect.db...p;Q_SEASON=2012
  5. It was on a Saturday right before the regional final, Holy Cross had upset the Gophers and the Sioux took Michigan apart on that Friday. It was cold as hell and we had an absolute blast, I'll never forget it. Good food, good beverages, good friends.
  6. I had the good fortune to get to know Troy over the years as well. It was always fun seeing him on our trips up to REA or at various other venues throughout the league. Fighting Sioux hockey has lost one of their most passionate fans today. You will be missed Troy. Rest in peace my friend.
  7. Arnold Poindexter: So what you're saying essentially is, is that along with infinite space which extends beyond perpetual bigness there's also infinite smallness? Harold Wormser: [nods head in agreement] Arnold Poindexter: How? Harold Wormser: Easy. Take an asymptotic line and extend it outward. Arnold Poindexter: Oh. Stewart: Right, right, right. So perpetual bigness exists simultaneously with perpetual smallness. What was I thinking?
  8. That's a very nice idea in theory Dave...but we'd look like freaking IDIOTS!
  9. Yeah the arch ones aren't very sharp.
  10. I'm pretty sure he's divorced but he's a son and brother so you're right, best of luck to him in fighting these demons.
  11. They tweaked it with some black trim to give it a three-dimensional look, just like this helmet. I'm not sure what there is to be troubled about.
  12. You just summed up very nicely why I bolted the Engineering school for the Business school after two years! Well that and the guy-girl ratio was better at Gamble Hall too.
  13. My understanding is that UND is no longer allowed use of the "Notre Dame interlocking ND", so I think that was as much a reason for tweaking it as the name uncertainty.
  14. He has a summer place in Brainerd, so maybe that's how Tim knows him?
  15. Hey I loved to blow off steam during the college years as much as the next guy, but trashing furniture on a public street? Really?
  16. Per Brad's tweet: Kudos to Hakstol and staff for acting in a quick and decisive manner! The punishment sounds about right IMO. http://twitter.com/gfheraldhockey
  17. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This.
  18. You could create the Sioux through Teambuilder. If anyone puts the Bennett Brien logo on a helmet I'd like to see it! http://ncaafootballfreak.com/2009/04/detai...ilder-revealed/ I don't think the FCS teams are available out of the box, they quit doing that a number of years ago unfortunately.
  19. I agree. 3-1 might be good for a share of the Great West. Two wins over the NAIA schools, a loss to Texas Tech, and split the FCS out of conference schedule...that sounds about right. I hope you're wrong about Cal-Poly attendance...plenty of time for trick-or-treating with the kiddos after the game!
  20. I hope you're right, but it seems like every season that things start with good intentions and then it's back to the same old crap by January.
  21. If you like steak, Manny's and Murray's are two places to start.
  22. There's really nothing wrong with Ruth Chris, I just have a bias for locally owned restaurants all things considered.
  23. What a great looking schedule! Look forward to working the Ball State game into the Thanksgiving break plans.
