Per Brad's tweet:
Kudos to Hakstol and staff for acting in a quick and decisive manner! The punishment sounds about right IMO.

You could create the Sioux through Teambuilder. If anyone puts the Bennett Brien logo on a helmet I'd like to see it!

I don't think the FCS teams are available out of the box, they quit doing that a number of years ago unfortunately.
I agree. 3-1 might be good for a share of the Great West. Two wins over the NAIA schools, a loss to Texas Tech, and split the FCS out of conference schedule...that sounds about right. I hope you're wrong about Cal-Poly attendance...plenty of time for trick-or-treating with the kiddos after the game!
I talked to a football parent last night who said that his understanding was that Murray would be good to go this fall, so I'm not sure what to believe right now. We'll find out soon I guess.
Ah yes, the most popular used car in automotive history!! The gas cap was in the fin, causing heartburn for many a gas station attendant when they first came out.
Thanks for the post, that boils it down quite clearly. I don't know all the legal ins and outs, but a swing of 1,000 votes from the morning after the election to what was certified seems like an awful lot, maybe unprecedented in election history.
Say the minimum wage gets jacked up another couple bucks an hour. You're sure Wendy's can't jack up the price of those burgers? The competition is subject to the same constraints. Nobody raises their prices, none of it's passed on to the consumer? In this analogy, both Wendy's and Burger King either pass costs along or sustain economic losses and ultimately go out of business.
What an embarassment. Votes found in trunks of cars in the Iron Range and what not. Back on topic, I don't think the Franken situation changes the fact that the House version of this bill is dead on arrival on July 6.
Senator DeMint also said this morning that the bill in its current form is DOA when they get back from break, but something very likely will get passed and then it goes to conference committee, where the Dems are completely running the show right now of course...so there is still cause for a lot of concern. Fox was the only outlet that I saw covering the EPA report story...there's a shocker for ya. True journalism in this country is pretty much dead, but that's a whole other topic in and of itself.
The topic has huge ramifications on the energy industry in North Dakota and is a valid topic of conversation in the Community forum , IMO. And the beauty of it is that you can continue to get Fighting Sioux coverage in the sports forums without having to click the mouse button on Cap and Trade.
That is incorrect. The CCHA uses rivalry pairings, and the clusters are created each season by putting two pairings together across three clusters. The clustering rotates every year creating a five-year cycle. I hope that was clearer than mud.
The net result of it will be that rivals will be travelling to your rink 3 out of every 5 years, instead of 3 out of 4. But it's what needed to be done to prevent further contraction of college hockey.
I would love to see them switch it up as well, the St.Paul scene is growing very stale IMO. But realistically I think the tournament is locked down in St.Paul for a long time.
