I think that Eidsness is the better goalie. However we need to have two goalies in case that Eidsness goes down or if he loses his edge. It seems that having some competition for playing time makes everyone better. On the other hand I can see that the coach might think he has to have his best goalie out there at all times or the never satisfied fans will be calling for his head.

The key to the game was the disallowed goal. It that counts we more than likely win going away. If anyone can post it I'd love to see it. Plus it will be a nice reference when we get hosed on the exact same thing later in the year. And when the heck did they change the rule on checking from behind? They should have lost two if not three players this weekend.

At least people quit hacking on Frattin like they were all week.

My observations. I think Lapoints been improving right along. I was happy to see Fienhage play so well last night. I think as Malone gets more playing time he'll come along very nicely. Maybe the Sioux have caught on or maybe this will be a down year. You have to expect that in COLLEGE hockey when you don't have control of what players you have year to year and you don't have the luxury of pocketing some redshirts just in case. I hope they catch on, but as long as they compete hard every night it's a good game to be at.

It seems to me that on defense Cornell had their forwards collapsing to the net quite a bit . That allowed our defensemen to play a lot deeper and get involved in the scoring.

I can see the teams spending TOO MUCH TIME on their academic stuff and not enough time on the essentials.

I see the NHL teams often play a cycle, however they seem to get the puck out in front of the net quite a bit more often. It seems that we're cycling for cylcing's sake.
