I heard from someone who was at Boosters that Finley and Trupp were out tonight. Trupp's real close and with Finley there is some cautious optimism.

Not only that but he failed to learn from Friday night and DID NOT PLAY Jones on the first power play unit even though two of those most revered Sioux Sports posters agreed that that must be done in all future games. Because of that coaching error we scored a fraction of the goals Saturday night as we had Friday.

By the way, traditionally when the Sioux score at home vs the Gophers a Gopher is thrown out on the ice. Since we're all animal lovers now, we might just have to throw out a Gopher fan.... Isn't Michigan tied up with their own Great Lakes Tournament and the one with M. State, Wisconsin and the Goophers? I know we got Notre Dame here to play NOT so long ago. Of course that was before they really accomplished their turnaround. I'm sure the Sioux try to get more quality opponents to come here. That point was made by the Cornell coach last week when he said he respects ND because they're willing to make a deal to go out East in exchange for a home game. He said that other teams such as the BADgers and Goophers won't do that.
