  1. Party at Judy's?
  2. Actually we were tied at the time. So it was a push to have him in there and out of there Saturday.
  3. Weird. You mean they found a rule to suspend a player for a long time for intentionally injuring another player. So why was Goeff Paukovich not suspended for the rest of the season. In fact if I remember right, the author of the linked article didn't think that there was a mechanism to suspend a player for longer than one game. Funny how times change. But anyway, I'm glad that at least the CCHA cares about the health of their players and the integrity of the game. Correction, it was the Michigan State hockey program that suspended them, so good for them.
  4. What a freakin joke. There's no penalty at all for a coach to walk out on the ice AFTER he's been thrown out of a game.
  5. As in the Hakstol, non verbal communication incident, it seems that the league and the school coordinated the response. I expect that as well.
  6. Hmm, in the Hakstol non verbal communication incident last year the University took the stand immediately that they were going to take action. This doesn't say that Denver will be doing anything about it (nor do they say the matter is closed.)
  7. I agree with that.
  8. Box score: I have to admit I was a bit confused during the game. They announced a bench minor and bench misconduct, then clarified it to a game misconduct. I was a bit slow on the upchuck to realize that the spaz had gotten kicked out.
  9. That helps their ratings how?
  10. Yes, which was called before the spaz went on the ice. He was also thrown out before he went on the ice. Or in other words, there was NO sanction by the on ice officials for this behavior that was apparently unprecedented.
  11. I think that's a good point.
  12. Let's take two examples. After the scrum on Friday the officials took a long time to figure things out. That was smart to give the players time to cool off. On Saturday the Sioux were flying. Spazzdecky started slowing the game down and change the flow of the game. At the point of the Spazz'z fit the teams were playing hockey, not mixing it up. There's no excuse to slow down the game.
  13. Agreed!
  14. Not our fault that they don't like to leave home until they're 21. (Just kidding!)
  15. Does that include trying to start a fight with the coach of a KIDS hockey team because you thought they scored too many goals?
  16. And he would have negated the boarding call with a weak holding call behind the net as soon as he could.
  17. As I found out with my big brother YEARS ago. A guy on skates on the ice is untouchable by a person who isn't.
  18. Probably the best PR job ever making a total idiot look like a kinda.
  19. The two players AND their coach should be suspended for this crap.
  20. There's no harm in coming in, provided you don't lock the window? Don't you live in a single level house?
  21. Another non-call that ought to bug the uber-spaz, Curious George.
  22. You better get in with that windchill.
  23. It seems that the pwr often looks grim at this point of the season but by the time the selection comes about you really can't take issue with it. It's also worth noting that we are at #14 in the pwr as well as the KRACH.
  24. I agree that it should have been a delay of game the moment he came on the ice. At that point another delay of game penalty should have been assessed each and every ten seconds. I realize that that's somewhat extreme, but in all of the years I followed hockey I've not seen a coach do that.
  25. Absolutely he needs to be gone for at least one game for walking on the ice. The official should have also started assessing delay of game penalties for the time he was out there. (as in you have five seconds to RUN off the ice or it's two minutes....Ok that's one penalty, you have five seconds to RUN off the ice or it's another two.)
