They grew up and got jobs I think. Happens to the best of us. They were great though. A lot of buzz and a lot of humor.

Not inexplicably, they had one of those "hot goalies." Our record otherwise is better than theirs: 3 more wins, 2 more losses. They've got 6 ties while we have 3.

What exactly is the difference if he's not playing. I mean is the league going to rule that he would have been a healthy scratch so he gets another game? Not that I agree with the league not making an example of him. I am shocked that Irwin wasn't suspended. How's that guy from Denver feeling that had to sit out last weekend? Do you think Gwozdickey isn't on the phone with McKlown asking him that. I don't think McKlown helped his situation out one bit. Regarding Bruess, he had a suspension coming, but apparently (I didn't see a replay) not for that hit. Go figure.

Considering that McClown just suspended a Dumbver player for doing pretty much the same thing, it wouldn't make any sense at all NOT to suspend that jerk Irwin. I'm not saying he will, just pointing out that if McClown doesn't he's going to have even more trouble within the coaches. Is Gwozdicky going to be happy that his guy had to sit while the Mankato kid didn't? Mullen from Denver was suspended on Thursday of last week. I expect that Irwin will hear around then. Of course that would beg the question why #5 from Mankato doesn't get suspended for his major penalty at the end of Friday's game. (I don't expect McClown to address that.)

Sure would hate for them to get the idea that we're a bunch of cannibals or something.

Smaby's playing for Tampa Bay vs Toew's Hawks. He drew a penalty for the first whistle of the game. Wound up going HARD into his own net.
