The satellite feed came down in protected content. It took a bit of work to even get it so I could get it onto my computer. (involving VCR tapes and the like.) As of now Youtube hasn't processed the videos. I'm trying to upload it in MPG2 to see if that helps. Edit: I have no idea what's going on. I still can't view this video from the main way, but if you go to my "channel" (who knew I had a channel?) it worked for me. According to the KRACH we have the third easiest first round team. Miami has Alabama Huntsville at 43. Denver has RIT at 37. Yale is sitting at 21. The number one team in our bracket is actually playing a stronger team according to the KRACH. Alaska Fairbanks is 15. No game is easy in a single elimination tournament, but we got a good draw.

I'll take care of it for the same price as last time.

I just watched the selection show after Church. A couple observations. I like Barry Melrose covering the NHL, but he doesn't know college hockey. The tip off was when he said we had to win to get in the tournament. Get someone who knows college hockey please. I'm also laughing that we play Yale who's ranked 21st in the KRACH and has played the 40th hardest schedule. For those of us that don't like seeing BC again in the tournament you have to admit they gave us a game we should win. (meaning Yale)

AZ he was thinking "More Broads." He's a sexist pig. Great win tonight. There were a couple gutsy things that really stand out. After going down two in the first minute they gutted it out and righted the ship. Then they played third period with no legs at all. Even so they managed to gut out a win. We could go somewhere this weekend. Look at the teams ranked over us. Miami--We tied them giving up a two goal lead. Denver--Just beat them decisively, but they'll be better next time. Wisconsin--Only saw them in December tied them once and lost a one goal team. Then you have BC that we might be playing next weekend. Big question mark there. I don't want to play them and I doubt they want to share a bracket with us as well.

There's quite a bit of difference between the KRACH and the Pairwise, but not until you get down to #7. I don't know enough about how the KRACH is done to judge, but it's said to be the best out there. At #7 we have Cornell in the PWR. In the KRACH they are 13. Duluth is 7 in the KRACH and 17 in the PWR. Yale is 21 in the KRACH and #9 in the PWR. I shouldn't complain because our KRACH and PWR are only one off (4 and 5 respectively). While that's a significant difference in seedings it's hard to judge one method more valid than the other. On the other hand a team like Yale making the tournament says to me that the PWR is fatally flawed.

Gettin' so I can understand the PWR possibilities.

I don't think that's the case at all. They just avoid first round matchups if possible.

I don't understand, these same two referees refused to call a slash when MacWilliam got slashed before a face off last Friday night. That was a slash on the player, clearly more important to call.
