  1. Naw, he was being sarcastic. Kitten or puppy?
  2. Um.... I guess you didn't recognize sarcasm, did you? Hey look! Here's a cute kitten AND a puppy!
  3. Bison - 2013 Only (not 2012, not 2014 , or 1968, or 1898, but 2013...or maybe when Jeff Bentrim was playing..he was a GOD! ) Arena Football League Top 1-2 no doubt We play well indoors. CFL Grey Cup, Champs. No doubt. Bohl would be bored. He hates Tim Hortons. Plus, too many hockey guys around. NFL Europe - Semifinals. 1/2 the team would be in jail though. Nobody there likes American Football, so they couldn't' weasel outta prison time. NFL in 'Merica - 10-6 record. Wild Card behind the Packers. First round win/ Second round loss to the Pack. Bohl knows football, but with two more years, they'd solve the Aaron Rogers problem. Then...perennial Super Bowl Champeeens! Roll Tide...um...I mean Herd!
  4. Here is a picture of a puppy... (Remember, those from the Ag School are easily distracted..)
  5. Well, you know. People from the University of Agriculture and Applied Sciences ARE easily distracted...
  6. Maybe they're talking about a couple of boxers coming in from Standing Rock?
  7. We'll have to wait until the season plays out. It should be interesting. I have no doubt that the Bison will win the MVC, but who comes out on top out of the Big Sky? Eastern Wash or one of the Montanas. Will they match up with the Bison in the FCS championship? Also, if UND can pull off their first playoff appearance, would they end up in Fargo in the first round? That would make both Bville and Siouxsports boards melt down!
  8. They have great beer halls there...
  9. Yeah, you got that right! It's also frickin' cold there in December... I never have understood any bowl game being in a cold environment..
  10. Yup..congrats to the Ag School team. Pass these out to the boys! (like they need them...with the administration backing the up anyway...)
  11. New Mexico Bowl? Obscure?
  12. I thought he was from München.
  13. I would tend to agree somewhat. Depending on the definition of "good" I don't think programs like Indiana or Purdue would schedule NDSU at this time. Maybe even some above that level. Like I said before - oddly this helps programs like UND schedule FBS schools for the big payout. Like the one they will get with Washington. But, it probably hurts some teams, like the Ag School and Eastern Washington with scheduling "good" FBS programs.
  14. I'd like to see them build that stadium model with a retractable roof over old Memorial Stadium. Yeah...expensive. But, if you want to play with the big dogs.. As far as FBS opponents, oddly we are in a better position to schedule them than the Ag School. Let's face it, they have success against them and this KSU win is gonna scare away a lot of potential FBS contracts. It's really a credit to their program.
  15. Kind of sad, in a way. They started adding crap schools and then eight schools broke away and formed the MWC. Then, the refugees that were worth a damn joined the MWC. D-I is so volatile right now, perhaps if the big five conferences break away, the base of the NCC should re-form as a D-1 FBS conference. All speculation. UND needs to get good at FCS first... both on the field and with attendance.
  16. Resurrection of WAC football? Just a thought...
  17. Jeez, talking about one-upping the Ag School!
  18. Game in and game out the injuries would take a toll. I found Bohl's comments about the training staff were very classy. He gave a lot of credit to the trainers for keeping their team hydrated and ready to play in the oppressive heat. A big factor in keeping the starters in and avoiding too many substitutions. The Ag School starters are good, but their team, like all FCS teams, lacks the bench to compete in a major BCS conference. This isn't taking anything away from what the Ag School did last night. It was impressive.
  19. In football, it could be the biggest win in ND history. However, we will have to wait and see how KSU does this year...if they are a 2-9 team...maybe not. I figure they're probably a 7 or 8 win team this year. If that is the case, it would be the biggest football win in ND history.
  20. I'm eating it. That was a good win for the Ag School. Now...keep the pants zipped up, hands off the merchandise, avoid petition drives, and for God's sake don't get drunk and beat somebody up in an alley!
  21. Eating crow here. They won both on the scoreboard and on the field. No fluke win, they out coached them, out played them and had the mental discipline to march down the field for the winning touchdown. They earned it. Hats off the the Bison. (Now, keep your pants zipped up, hands off the merchandise, no bar fights, and for God's sake, stay away from petition drives!)
  22. Indeed. I had friends and relatives at NDSU come up for UND hockey games all the time. They cheered the Sioux when the won national championships. I don't deny the talent and discipline on the field of these players and the coaches from Fargo. I just question their moral character off the field, as well as the administration of that school not enforcing discipline.
  23. You got that right. Yes, I don't like what they have been doing off the field, but that was one impressive win. I figured after K-State went up 21-7 it was over. Give Mr. Clean credit, he is a Hell of a coach and they are a well disciplined team on the field. (Gotta admit, I was cheering them in the end. It's a North Dakota thing..)
  24. I think it's avoidance. He is afraid to face the dark truth of the defending Big XII champion Kansas State Wildcats. It's going to be a bloodbath...
  25. Obsession combined with an inferiority comlplex. It's understandable coming from the University of Agriculture and Applied Science to want to be like the flagship...the University of North Dakota. However, public safety in Fargo is at risk with the way they run their football program. So, it is an issue that affects more than just those at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science. Ask the young lady that had the penis waived in front of her at the mall. Ask the young man that was brutally attacked in the alley. Ask the voters of North Dakota that were vicitms of fraud. Ask the owners of Best Buy (and Lord knows what other stores..) that had their inventory ransacked...all done by the football players at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science. Their administration is putting the public at risk. They should be held accountable.
