  1. Thanks to those who have offered their congratulations and good luck to you guys in the transition.
  2. Another confirmation it's true. http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm...;section=sports
  3. Well NDSU and SDSU are in the Gateway http://www.thespectrum.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...NEWS01/70306014
  4. If you can't see the irony in your post then your beyond help. You make a snide remark about NDSU fans and then you ridicule them for allegedly chanting anti-sioux chants and you say it's so they can feel good about their team or school. So whats your excuse? I was at the Minnesota game and I never heard anyone say anything before during or after the game regarding the sioux. You guys really must think your important that you believe all we have to do is obsess over you. I come over here to read what's going on in your transition plans and this is all you and mplsbison who's nothing but a Sioux fan posting as a Bison fan have to talk about? Get over yourself already.
  5. I have no idea, you would have to ask the person who made that comment.
  6. I should clarify, two open dates one of which will be a bye week and the other will be the open date.
  7. NDSU now only has one open date left. Just announced today that we are playing I-A Central Michigan of the MAC.
  8. Link it to a radio interview? I listened to it, did you? I already know the answer to that so don't bother.
  9. No you are wrong. I listened to the interview. He said 50% for and also against. Where you come up with some of this stuff is beyond me.
  10. By the way I never said anything about resuming it in 09. I'd prefer that it only be if we met in a playoff matchup period. I know that isn't likely but I would have no problem with that but I am also realistic.
  11. You just proved my point I made in my prior post. Hypocritical you better look in the mirror then. Remember those who live in glass houses.
  12. There, I fixed your post. Oh, and I don't see it changing in just 5 years. It hasn't changed for many over the last 4.
  13. I think the smart business decision is to keep the advantage we have and go our own way. I hear so many talking about the business end of it but they fail to mention that by playing this game NDSU would put UND on the same stage and that is not good business or marketing. I know there will be those sioux fans who will blast this but the truth is that NDSU is doing fantastic in this transition and for them to just give that edge back to UND would be foolish. People seem oh so concerned about the fans, then they are so concerned about NDSU. I find that laughable. Where was all this concern 4-5 years ago? If the game was to be played after NDSU wins all that you would say is it was an unfair advantage scholarship wise anyway so why bother. Either way I wish you luck in your transition when you start it but I won't be looking for any game's with you. PS. There are many more out there like me that don't post to message boards or call into radio talk shows and this isn't a hatred thing it's more like being tired of the same old boring arguements and bickering between schools. It's been nice the last 4 years and I see no reason to ruin that. Look at the last month on all the message boards. This is just a sample of what would happen and I for one really don't care to relive that.
  14. Much to your dismay the NDSU vs. SDSU game was a true sellout, holds the record attendance for any sporting event in ND. I was there and it was electric. You guys can keep harping but we don't have to give tickets away to the number one sporting event in ND.
  15. How Ironic Schultz calling someone big and dumb. Pot to kettle pot to kettle.
  16. How ridiculous is that arguement, for one your including a sport for which we don't sponsor. Secondly I wouldn't be so quick to add a sport win which when mens and womens figures are combined your losing money.
  17. I never once said they had to disclose the names of the donors. What part of that don't you understand. To all who think 615,000 isn't much money nice try, in my book that's a lot of money. You can try to slice this and dice this any way you want but you guys are not going to tell the taxpayers they have no rights in this matter. If you want to try that avenue you better get ready to start looking for lots of private donations to keep your university running.
  18. Every taxpayer has a right to know. No ducking questions here. And if you think the American Indian comment isn't sticking to the subject then you are completely lost. This whole issue is about that and the root of the problem
  19. Ignore the issue all you want guys, it doesn't help your position it only makes you look weaker. It's obvious trying to have a serious discussion on this is a waste of time. With comments about seedless watermelons ect I can only say good luck to you in trying to improve your image as well as defend yourselves. I don't see either one being an easy task, the people I do feel sorry for are the American Indians with whom your issue is really with but you don't want to address that. That and of course those pesky taxpayers who think they have a right to know how a public institution is spending money. Silly thought all of them, dam the people and their silly rights this is UND after all who dares question them. Carry on its business as usual for some of you.
  20. I understand its your board, I do enjoy visiting many different message boards and try to be respectful at all. I noticed that you didn't comment on the situation if it were reversed. I suspect you already know the answer to that question as I do. Carry on.
  21. Pretty funny stuff but in reality doesn't address the Why? I don't see why people on here see that as an unfair question. If the shoe was on the other foot and the roles were reversed you would all be foaming at the mouth mad that the numbers were not made public.
  22. If there's nothing to hide then why not just come out with the numbers? No one said that you had to disclose who gave the money. If UND wants to avoid this type of questioning by the media and the public then they had ought to let an outside source from the NDBOHE oversee the accounting of this. If you expect that anything is going to change or people are just going to say aawww it's ok because the people at UND say it is your kidding yourself. So again, if there's nothing to hide then why is it all so secretive?
