any new news on Prp? i want him to play this season!!! if he does, then go coyotes!! they need some help....bet he never thought as a kid he'd ever play for the great one :-D

The recordings i did were in 2004-2005. they may NOT be thew ones on there, not completely sure, now, but i know we did do some recordings. i was in the bards and concert choir my freshman year (04-05). of course, the ones on there could still be from way back when, in the 70s-80s, ya know, back when YA'LL were freshmen haha. it was fun singin those school songs, but, haha, yeha, alot of good it does us if everyone only cares about the band, haha.
-
BTW, dont diss those a capella recordings. i was part of that group singing. we did that because the band was way behind in making their recordings, and everyone was asking how to get the recordings online. it was an attempt to make everyone happy. of course, then the band came out with theirs, which is what everyone REALLY wants, and now ours are the !@#!$ ones. agreed, the band is what everyone wants to hear, but ours are the originals. ok, im done venting haha

Poop on Rutgers.....UNC needed that win to prove to everyone they had it this season.....well there goes that. I'm from central NC, and have been a UNC fan for about 10 years. Sucks to see them lose the first game of the season, as my own NEW school (East Carolina University) also lost yesterday to Navy. Rutgers obviously has a good program, and a very good defense. All in all.....this is what matters..... The Fighting Sioux of the North Dakota U won their first game of the season!!!!! LETS GO SIOUX!!

how bout last night....how did Kup do?
-
anyone see how Kup did in he game VS Tennesee?
-
"Dear Lord Baby Jesus, we thank you for this bountiful harvest of Dominos, KFC, and the always bountiful Taco Bell, and for the wonderful news that Phil Kessel is no longer a Gopher"

http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A9ibyGaDiuhEwRcB...ris_farley8.jpg Phil Kessel=Chris Farley? http://www.startribune.com/media/2006/06/2...39.embedded.jpg (i cant get the pics to post, so check out the pic of Farley, and tell me it isnt Kessel in disguise)

sounds promising. i guess we'll see how he can do in a few weeks. GO SIOUX!

yeah i saw that on the depth chart too. anyone see the broncos game last night and/or hear how Kuper did, assuming he played? on a side note, i watched the falcons Vs Patriots last night, cause we didnt get the broncos game here in NC. And holy crap, not that i am a gophers fan AT ALL or anythgin, but Laurence Maroney (Patriots 1st rd pick, 21st overall) kicked the crap outta the Falcons defense. first 2 running plays he did he had 39 yards. total in 9 attemps was 66 though. that 1st quarter he sure had it on. good for the gophers to have SOMEONE ever a little good come out of their program now if only Kuper could have as good a showing, and Glas can get a spot with...well, someone. Oh, and in addition....LETS MOVE TO D-1. I dontwanna wait 3-4 years

talked to ZBJ about a month ago. he said he was in NC for the summer, for some summer school, but was gonna be back in ND for the season.
-
haha, oh its all good. yeah i was one of those people upset about all the early departures. and, lol, the statement i made was completely sarcastic. i mean, yes, it was true, but LEAVING it was with a sarcastic tone haha. it was just nice to see SOMEONE stay, like everyone else was. lol i assume alot of the comments about mine were sarcastic lol. anyways, i am just as glad as everyone else to know that he is comin back. but, its bittersweet in a way, for me. i got to see him play last year, but not this year, as i am now in NC. so, please, all of you in GF, please gloat your hearts out about that haha
-
wow, oh yeah, umm, i am about 99.9%, no, wait, 100% sure that I was the one who said all along that Toews was comin back, regardless. And pretty sure all of you guys who are all breathing a sigh of relief now that he is for sure coming back, were, at the time, completely denouncing any possibility of him coming back. so, yeah, thanks.
-
also noticed they have North Carolina Central as 3rd in the first poll, not even on the charts in the second poll.....
-
just for future referece, jic, who is anaheim's AHL affiliate?
-
so because he signed does that mean he will start the season with the Ducks? or their AHL affiliate
-
yeah i am definitely breathing a big sigh of relief. i hope they do take skille and dont take toews.....let the badgers suffer another loss, not us please. and, please, dont let ottawa take lee, as i ahve heard a rumor starting on here about that...
-
sweet....i love belfour.....not like it means anything, but on my NHL 06 game for X-Box, i have belfour as my goalie, and he has a 99 overall rating....yeah, so, not like it matters, just thought id share haha
-
ah ok, well i had no clue it was that old of a deal lol. my bad. but, still, thats great they will be playing together EVENTUALLY i would assume....
-
in case no one saw it in the other thread, Bochenski is now playing for the Blackhawks, thanks to the Senators trade of him and their 2nd round draft pick for tyler arnason. so toews and bochenski on the same team. man, the balckhawks are stacking their team with Sioux power forwards....
-
you could be right. to lose another Sioux team member, esp with the loss of Parise looming near, expectedly, it would be a devastating blow to lose yet another member of the team. but, in my opinion, whether the senators are a little shallow at D or not, Lee has a good amount of work to do on playing better. i noticed last season that he just kinda dangled the puck alot, esp on powerplays. he would just sit there with it, more than pass it, and waste time on PPs. he wasnt much of a physical force, not compared to, well, any other D-man on the ice for the Sioux. i think that the sens may know they are shallow, but i believe they also know they have alot more options waiting for them in Binghamton in the mix already. i just personally think Lee will be back next season to imporve his game. Then we'll probably lose him next year. on a side note, did anyone else notice that in the Sens trade of their second round pick, they traded brandon bochenski as well for tyler arnason. so toews will get a chance to play with bochenski now. that would be a kick ass combination.
-
haha, it was huh, well maybe i should head back up to ND or up to NJ and sing for the other bro lol. ok, so yeha, just kidding. but, damn, i expected ryan to maybe play some in the AHL. but i had never heard where he ended up or what he ended up doing. ah, well, i hope he is going great with that.
-
on WRAL News in Raleigh, here, it said that Commy is getting $1.5 mil in 2007-2008, but USATODAY.com says 2.5/2 years........so who knows how much it really is.....
-
I sang for ryan's wedding last summer. so i am kinda curious to know if anyone knows what he has been up to. lemme know, since im sure someone has heard.....ya'll have such amazing grapevines on here lol
