a year ago he was sitting in class next to me, now he is standing in the faceoff circle next to Jagr......wow :-P
-
is this the first game he has played since that horrible loss at the beginning of the season when he gave up 6 goals?
-
I am not sure if UND was looking at him, or if he was looking at UND at all, but i just heard from a friend of mine (NC State's club hockey captain) that a guy named Warsofsky just signed a LOI with BU. He is a sophomore still, but my friend's best friend is his older brother. Anyways, not sure if this is any relevance here, but thought I'd share

looking for a clip of the last goal to give to a buddy of mine here in NC (Captain of the ECU Ice Hockey team) who is from Minneapolis, and a huge Gophers fan (seriously he wears a gophers hat every day. i give him crap for it allthe time....jsut say HOLY CROSS and he goes off

thats why he isnt OUR former player...an EX-UND player would have burried that goal.....way to go Bruins on blowing a nice large lead and letting the almost flawless Sabres get another 2 points
-
which is great that he concentrated more on offense....he IS a forward, NOT a D-Man. I expect D-Men to be the ones in the box and forwards being the scorers. as long as he does his job and is productive though, im sure he'll go far with the Scorpions.
-
no he doesnt.....Mike has 20, Craig McDonald has 23, and Vladimir Hartinger has 25. just an fyi....but great for mike to get 2 points....his first 2 of the season

anyone know the extent and details of Jon's injury?

ok well thanks for the bit of info. how did you get into those programs? through that site/nhl.com? i did see that nhl.com had alot of stuff up, which i looked at. but not sure at all about JOhnson himself? i figured if i could get an email to him or something, i could maybe get a little more ahead. hopefully someone knows a way to contact him. even though i know he isnt a part of that program anymore, albeit not the NHl itself anymore either, at least i know he has some ties, and ya never knwo what could come about. thanks again for the help

question for anyone......does anyone know how i could contact johnson about nashville? although i am in school right now, i am looking at places to get a job when i graduate or get internships over summers, etc, and considering my fiance wants to work for CMT, we wanted to move to Nashville. i figured if i at elast tried to contact Greg, maybe i could get a foot in the door, being an ex-Sioux, and HUGE Sioux fan still......anyone have any idea?

AZSIOUX, i thought Greg Johnson retired because of his heart? or am i mistaken

Was lookin on the Lowell Devils website and noticed that JPar got a start on September 22. He let one goal in and they replaced him with the other goalie. WTF is that? i mean, i know it waws preseason, but sheesh, give the guy a chance. The second goalie let in the winning goal. JPar wouldn't have....*crosses fingers*

ah, yes it is, didnt see the one....i was drunk when i posted it haha......correction made...thanks

posted this on another thread, thought id repost here......what do ya'll think? hopefully this weekend we can rack up two BIG wins against the W and move WAY up in these polls. i think with so many key players leaving the W they are gonna be too hard pressed to be consistent on offense, and defense as well, but more on offense, with their top 5 scorers leaving this year. i think they will let last year get into their minds and get distracted by the banner raising and wont focus on how tough an offense they have against thiem this weekend. with so many good players back this year for the sioux, despite who DID leave, i think we have a good chance to rack up some goals on elliot. all in all, i think it will be a close weekend, but i think the sioux will pull out 2 wins, esp if jones and finley are back in the lineups. p.s. i am looking at going into broadcasting a little bit in school now. i picked up a jopb as the hockey announcer at the East Carolina University club hockey games, and am having ALOT of fun. anyone have any tips on what i could do to try and get into the industry as a hockey analyst/announcer/commentator? or should i just forget it and leave it for the ex-NHL-ers
