yeah especially since Emery already doesnt get enough poaying time thanks to Gerber (jk jk). although i do distinctly remember he having a problem when he was on the Rangers when Lundqvist came in and basically took over his spot. Hence why he went to Ottawa (i think). So yeah, i would assume Elliot would be playing with Ottawa's AHL club.

oh yeah, and Smaby was a healthy scratch last night. why in the world would they call him up and not let him play? retarded!!!!! JPar didnt even know Smabes had been called up! and you would ahve thought they woudl have kept tighter :-P

yeah i talked to him last night about that. he said that he wont ever know if he is going up or not until they tell him, but, of course, he doesnt see it as a possibility this season, even with the playoffs coming, cause Marty is so good, and Clem, in JPars mind, is a good backup. He also said why worry about the big team when his AHL team has the playoffs to think about as well. He really is a class-act guy. I talk to him every once in a while, maybe once every week or 2. And he never is like, sorry can't talk. As he said last night "it's all about the fans"

oh and just so everyone knows.....my fiance got 4 grinder's sent to me through the mail for my birthday this year, since I live in North Carolina now and she knows how much i love grinders....the only problem was that it cost $65 to get it all shipped here. $35 was shipping....cause it was overnight AND refrigerated.....just a heads up for anyone not in GF looking to get some Pepper

I am curious about JT leaving or not. I mean, if we don't win it this year, im wondering if he may stay one more year to try and get that #8 and try and win the WJC a third time. I am not the only one who thinks this, the view is shared by many. I wont be surprised if he leaves, especially because i expect Chicago to throw more money than last year at him. I'm thinking JT and JS on the same line will be as potent as the Zach Parise-Travis Zajac matchup.....once they get over their differences from college days lol. I'll take Oshie as a lock to leave, but not necessarily a lock to make the big team. Especially if both Tkachuk and Guerin come back to St. Louis. And i think Chorney is gone too.

I jsut have one question in response to your one though: Do you happen to read the GPL boards? Do you see your players popping their jerseys at the crowd? Do you see all of the things that Gopher players do that basically say "I AM THE BEST" even when they are losing? I understand keeping the faith when you are in a slump, but there are extremes. Popping the jersey like they do, i.e. on Saturday, is just showy. You won the WCHA. woopie. who cares? no one for the next few weeks. all anyone will care about is the NC. The GPL boards are full of BS and gopher fans talking down to sioux fans, just because they are sioux fans. so, thanks for the hypocracy. If you DONT knock others, then congradulations on being one in a million gopher fans who doesnt. Congrats on being an exception. Good luck against AF. As much as I'd love another Holy Cross incident, I'd much rather see the gophers in the next game and reclaim the dominance of them we showed during the regular season. maybe if Kozek (i think it was kozek) would have hit the puck with his blade and not his shaft right before the end of regulation, the puck would have gone in the net, and we wouldnt be having this argument......
