  1. Stronger, faster, more tenacious, winning every puck battle. This is so much fun to watch! Let's hope the next 45 minutes goes the same way.
  2. Holding, Interference, Roughing, 'giving him the business'. Take your pick. That was clearly a penalty.
  3. Rarely do I actually yell at the TV, but it just happened. These refs are awful.
  4. We're winning nearly every puck battle, even some that they don't deserve to win. Need to put one in the net and not let QU get a flukey one.
  5. Me, too. But I'd like to see the boys in green put one in the net. That might help calm my heart rate. It's sitting at around 120 bpm right now.
  6. I think I'm going to wear my carpet down by pacing back and forth...
  7. No, restating the numbers does nothing to actually explain what they mean.
  8. According to Wikipedia: In NCAA softball, the rule is invoked if one team is ahead by at least eight runs after five innings. If Georgia holds the lead, the game will be over soon.
  9. Yes it should! My nerves are starting to get to me.
  10. Hopefully they'll put it on an alternate channel if softball runs long. ESPN News, probably.
  11. According to those odds, I think we're actually the underdog in this game. Might be the first time all season we've been the underdog.
  12. As far as I understand, UND aerospace is always buying new planes and rotating out old ones. The only reason this is news is because they're moving to a different vender and it's a big contract. Here's an AOPA article about it: http://www.aopa.org/News-and-Video/All-News/2016/April/06/Piper-scores-big-with-UND-training-contract It mentions that Piper has agreed to help market the aviation programs and provider scholarships. I'm personally more of a Cessna guy, but it's good to see Piper actively investing in the future of commercial and general aviation.
  13. The AP article called him Gabe.
  14. Be glad we didn't go to overtime. That easily knocks off a decade.
  15. Those last few seconds had me nervous. Never want to give up a goal late in the period.
  16. Yea, that was a bit embellished.
  17. I agree with all of them, almost. The only change I'd make to number two is that if the team scores on the delayed penalty while their goalie is still on the ice, then they should still get the power play. If their goalie has left the ice for a 6th skater, then no power play. If the goalie is on the ice it's not really a man-advantage yet, so the non-penalized team should still get their chance to play with a true advantage. It wouldn't take long to review some video after a goal to determine if the goalie had left the ice yet or not.
  18. Comparing two lines isn't just comparing the three players on the line. I don't think I disagree with the statement that CBS is better than DOT. That doesn't mean each player on one line is better than each player on the other line. "More than the sum of their parts".
  19. This thing works with iPhone, so it doesn't require infrared. Not every channel is supported. You just take a picture of the TV for it to identify what channel you're watching, then it streams the audio to you. It's not actually hooking into the TV that you're watching. I just played with it for a few minutes. Really awesome! I hope it's not breaking any laws by streaming the audio, because it might get shut down.
  20. The puck never even went above the height of the crossbar. No way it was played with a high stick. It's simple physics.
  21. Sure looks like the puck is redirected UP to the top corner of the net. No way it could be too high.
  22. That's goals from three different lines now.
