Ness really hasn't impressed me at all. Trupp and Frattin just wore him out on that last shift. On another note, she might as well write off Malone for next Friday's game, because it won't surprise me if he ends up dropping the gloves tonight. ...assuming a gopher player has the balls to join him.

It's quite funny. Woog is absolutely frustrated with this. He keeps talking about how it drives him nuts how players (Hoeffel, especially) keep shooting the puck over the net.

I seem to recall his homerism toned down a bit the last two seasons. But this weekend, he's back to his old form.

Another Wooger-ism: He was commenting on Malone hitting people tonight, or cross-checking as he said. He said something about "he did it last night and is continuing tonight. Somebody has to do something about it". Woog must not remember that it was Hextall who was getting in their heads last night, not Malone. He's still complaining about the cross-checking that we're doing.

Unfortunately, it's not often they connect on one-timers like that. Trupp nailed it and actually got a good shot off. Good to see.

Here's what Stoa said: Woog asked him about the scuffle at the end of the game, and apparently Hextall had been running his mouth all night so "somebody had to step up and do something about it". And Doug's reply: "Good for you". Doug Woog is officially a disgrace to FSN North. He used to be a big homer but in recent years has turned a bit more complementary to opposing teams when credit is due. But to say something like "Good for you" when a player starts a fight because he simply can't keep his emotions in check? That's simply a ridiculous thing to say.

Apparently a fraction of a second is "well, well, well after the whistle". Because Kozek's shot was "well, well, well after the whistle".

Maybe I misunderstood, I thought he meant Stoa should have gotten an interference call for interfering with Hextall. And I was right. Stoa got an extra two minutes. But now there's a phantom call on us......or maybe the clock just didn't start right.

Whatever happens, Stoa should get an extra two.
