As soon as the goalie's leg went out you could almost see how big Hextall's eyes got and he JUMPED at the puck to pick up the trash. 2-1 Sioux. 9:00 left in the 3rd

Good thing UAA doesn't have Frazee on their team or there'd be another two goals with all these ~200 foot shots.

It's pretty clear that Walski has a hell of an uphill climb ahead of him if he wants to play again this year. Although, the first two goals last night weren't entirely his fault. The defense didn't do a very good job of clearing the front of the net for him to see what was going on.

Can't really argue it, but look at it this way. Goalie is a freshman, he's only getting better and more consistent. The defense is down their best two guys and currently has a forward filling in. And to say the forwards lack an elite player, well you're just ignoring Duncan, Gregoire, Toews (still getting the feel for the WCHA game).

CC announcers have never seen a player score in his own net. He must have not seen much hockey.

Feinhage's name must not be in the media guide. The CC guys are calling him FINN-a-gee

The net got knocked off by Bachman on his initial save. Trupp put it in well after the net was off.

No comments from the CC announcers, either.

They've done an amazing job of controling the puck on power plays, as well as gathering their own rebound.

His second goal was originally given to somebody else. I'm not sure if they officially changed it, but the CC announcer has been reminding us for quite some time that it should have been Walsky's

What's even more frightening for the opponents, is that he was pretty much overlooked for his whole career so far, so he's always out there with something to prove. Yea, Jonny always played with amazing intensity, too, but Jason plays with a chip on his shoulder.

We could pull our goalie and they could go down 6-on-3. But I know what you meant.
