Frattin for 4 for roughing and a 10 minute misconduct. Jonesy only got 2 for unsportsman like conduct and a 10 minute misconduct. Other players got penalties, but I was just pointing out those two. I don't see how Jones got off lighter than the Frattin. Oh well. Gophers score. 6-1 It was after one guy was out of the box, so after the goal we're all at full strength.

I think it's pretty awesome how well the Sioux players have been able to get into the heads of the Gopher players.

Lucia didn't even look back, and you can almost bet Jones was yelling as he was chasing him. By not looking back it makes it seem like Lucia must have known he was going to be coming, but was choosing to ignore him. Obviously I don't have any inside info, but I'm just saying what it looks like to me. Frattin's out for the game. Fortunately, through all of this, Jones is the only player I could see getting suspended for next Friday.

Jones DIDN'T get touched at all!! He dropped the helmet and gloves right away after the faceoff and Lucia skated away. He was lined up as a winger. Odd. Ya think Lucia and Jones "agreed" to fight, then Lucia just skated away? Wouldn't put it past a gopher player.

Jones was PISSED! He must have been blind sided in addition to being tackled by the refs.

Actually, they've been keeping on the topic of hockey pretty well, but not always paying attention to the game. Here come the fights!!

The stat I heard earlier in the game from the Gopher announcers was that the Gophers haven't given up more than one PP goal on any given WEEKEND this season. We have three now, I believe. Two today, one yesterday.

He's been dealing with headaches and fatigue, and many tests have still not shown what the underlying problem is. He had to stay back in the twin cities for more tests this weekend.
