  1. why can we not do this... http://www.wwugamedaystats.com/fblivestats/xindiv.htm
  2. a guess 5 catches / 140 yds and 2 runs for over 50....then some return yards...?
  3. We have around 4-5 rotating front line d-postion guys out...we have some holes right now
  4. I'm guessing Weston is averaging around 35 yards a touch...?
  5. Survey right or wrong...? But By discrediting the survey you are bringing into question the integerity of our coaches and their staffs. I have been a Sioux fan for 30 years (not sure if I am a good old boy) I have a great deal of respect for Dale Lennon, Gene Roebuck, Dave Hakstol and their staffs. Over the years Presidents have come and gone, Athletic Directors have come and gone, Adminstratrion help has come and gone, the one thing that has remained constant is great coaches, coaches with character. I can not remember a Head Coach (major sports) over that time that did not carry themselves with Dignity, Class, and Intergerity at all levels. Our current coaches and their staffs are extensions of this proud history. If Mr.Buning was not doing his job, they would know more than anyone. I do not believe this is about budgets cuts, personallities, or anything like that. It's about being a team, all on the same page, heading in the same direction, under someone you can respect, communicate with, work with and work for, someone that provides leadership. On that simple formula Mr. Buning (great guy) has seemingly failed.

  10. In my honest opinion a student should never have to pay for any athletic ticket to any home event and that would include playoffs sponsored by the ncaa. The school would not exsist or have Athletic teams without students. Leave the paying for alumni, fans and boosters such as myself. They should have a certain pct of seats for free to all students who can attend. A lottery system of sorts may have to be used. This would have to be done because obviously you could not give away 12,000 seats to any game. Pick a number 2500-3000 and then sell the rest , but students should never pay in my opinion.
  11. So everybody (Dave K ) understands who Matt Greene is..... About 3-4 years ago, I am at a UND womens hockey game (attendance 134) Sitting across from me in the Handicapp level (southwest corner) is Myron Wagner a Old Fargo South Hockey and Football Coach (use to Coach against Serge Gambucci) - Myron Wagner and his wife are enjoying the game. Myron has had a several strokes and is confined to a wheelchair now with limited strength and mobility, his wife cares for him. I'm watching the game and look over as Myron's wife gets up and leaves to run and get something at the concessions, Myron starts to slip from his chair, he looks totally helpless and he is in trouble. I am all the way across the REA behind the benches and feeling helpless myself, I get up and move to go help. In the matter of seconds I see this "Big Lug" of a guy running and jumping over seats and railings 2-3 sections away, but on that side of the arena, moving as fast as he can to go and help Myron. He gets there and picks Myron up in both arms and holds him like a baby in his arms and sets him back into his chair, then he sits with Myron and waits with him until his wife returns. This "Big Lug" was Matt Greene who was at the womens hockey game supporting the sioux and his then girlfriend at the time who played. When I visited with both Myron and Matt later, that was the 1st time they had ever met, but not the last as Myron and his wife are big Sioux Fans and follow as many sports that time does allow them. Matt Greene is a very nice, caring and mature young man. He has earned my respect by the way he played and carried himself as a student athlete at UND. I now enjoy following his career in the NHL. Anyway that is my favorite Matt Greene story. Like I said in the other Great Matt Greene story..."Nice job Matt Greene"
  12. I do not believe so... I have seen St Cloud host a softball tourney in there dome practice facility, it however was 140 yards long and 90 yards wide, it does cover their entire football field.
  13. I understand what Dave K is saying....However there seems to be a un-written code of conduct in "Hockey". I believe Matt when he said "Are you ready to do this ?" Mr. Paukovich could have certainly refused, he however said "You know It"....Then it is let the games begin time in my opinion. I was also told they went out for dinner after the incident...In a sign of saying we now got that behind us..?
  14. The last rendering I saw (year ago) showed the Indoor facility where the old REA is. It would contain a 300 meter track, 80 yard football field, could be used for Track, Soccer, Football, Softball. The grass fields to the south of Memorial stadium are to be tore up, crowned, and reseeded when ever the field turf project is finished inside Memorial.
  15. Easy answer is No... But I believe they are planning for a alternative site if attendance grows in the future (20 years..?) and it also is not cheap at the Alerus we pay for practice time and games played there... anyone remember how much..?
  16. Edmonton Oilers had a pre-camp skate the other day.... Matt shows up 10 minutes late misses strecthing and warm-ups, jumps on the ice and sees that there is no one to face off against guess who ...? Geoff Paukovich..LOL Matt skates to the face off circle and looks right at Paukovich and says "Are you ready to do this ?" Paukovich says "You know it" That was all it took, gloves drop Matt jumps all over Paukovich and after 2-3 minutes (Greene says) they get them seperated...lol Sometimes paybacks really hurt, Nice job Matt Greene..! Check this out... http://forums.edmontonoilers.com/index.php?showtopic=34620
  17. There will be two parking ramps connected together by the walkway bridge. Look for a total renovation of Memorial Stadium..from the Inside - Out... This will be done so that we can compete for recruits as we go forward into Division 1 AA football (FCS). Weight Rooms, Study Rooms, Locker Rooms, Players Lounges, Renovated Offices, modular meeting rooms, all complete with state of the art video and electronics, the bottom of Memorial Stadium along with the South Tower will all be used. Field Turf is currently being installed, and then the Grass Field to the South will be completley re-seeded and completed. Some where in the future you will see a indoor practice facility (hopefully soon 3-5 years) and long term a larger Memorial Stadium (15-20 Years)
  18. Josh Kotelnicki is also a UND grad from our national championship team coaching linebackers as a grad asst coach at KSU..... http://www.kstatesports.com/ViewArticle.db...p;Q_SEASON=2007
  19. Auburn scores 14 pts in the last 2 minutes...to overshadow a great defensive performance by Tim Tibesar's 1st game as a D-Cord.....It was hard to watch at the end, If KSU could of got at least 1-1st down on offense they could have upset Auburn at home... KSU's offense in poor the only score they had came as as result of 3 trick plays in a row...? and the offense gave up the final TD with a fumble after the sack...
  20. Rob Hunt was released from Kansas City as well..... Not a good day for North Dakota Kids...
  21. Tim has called a outstanding game tonite against Auburn....the KSU defense has held them to just 3 field goals....with less than 5 minutes to play....outstanding job! right now KSU 13 Auburn 9..
  22. High School Football..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7Y_AkT7PEM He may of got his idea from these guys.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ99ScGdQv0&NR=1 anyway quite good...lol
