This has nothing to do with Sioux hockey, but as far as acting goes... A few years ago when I was involved with the Lake Region Rodeo Association, Devils Lake held the State Roughrider Rodeo Finals every year. One of my jobs was in the "crows nest" with the announcers, timers etc. One of the events, Jr. Bull riding only had a few year end qualifiers each year and they were usually a couple kids that qualified with only a few points throughout the year (also know as...very inexperienced). Anyway, we had a kid from Fort Totten that qualified and he nodded for his bull and was bucked off within about 1.7 seconds. He pulled a "knocked out cold" acting job and just laid there in the dirt. Now the emergency personnel and other cowboys are there to help out. About 30 seconds later, the bull circles around and comes back towards him, and this kids knows it and is suddenly cured and jumps up and hops on to the fence to avoid being run over by a 1500 pound bull. That kids got his A$$ chewed by every RRA official in that arena. He didnt come back for his 2nd and 3rd go-round.

I'd go along with that. It was very bad acting on JPL's part. Judging by the amount of time it took a trainer to get out there to check on him, they thought the same thing!

He ended up with a 5 min major for slashing!

Last year in St. Louis at our hotel bar, we met up with some UNH fans that were very fun. They said they were going to come this weekend for this series because they had heard so much about the arena and our great fans. Of course at the time we didnt think of exchanging an email address or phone numbers, so I will just keep my eyes wide open in search for them. Hope they made the trip.

I'm not sure when it was for sure. I have the Center Ice package, so I'm watching games every night. They turn into a blur sometimes. Was it at the game that Toews scored the 2nd goal and had an assist on the 1st? Against Nashville? Cant remember for sure.

During intermission of the Blackhawks game, I saw a clip of the Canes and Rangers. A Ranger (sorry, dont know who it was) decked Cullen at about center ice, looked like he was out cold, spinning face down. He does get up though, but he was bleeding, and Commodore comes to the rescue and fights with the Ranger, who had to leave the ice, bleeding. It was a quick report, so I dont know if any penalties came from it.

I almost forgot! I got this really cool set of 5 DVD's of the 1980, 82, 87, 97 and 2000 Sioux championship hockey games. That has helped me through our 3 week hockey drought. Thanks, AZSIOUX.
