I was talking about the prices when I said difficulty. It's not that the tickets aren't available, it's just that the prices are high right now. That will probably change by the beginning of the week.
I've always had tickets ahead of time, but from what I understand, tickets are always available out front.
The difficulty we had trying to find tickets on craigslist, etc this year, I'd be cautious on going to Denver without any.
Our group also wants to stay for the duration. You would be surprised though at the number of people that would vote to sell their tickets and come home.
Last year, I had a great time watching Michigan State win the championship.
Check at Spensers or PartyAmerica. Target and Walmart sometimes have the spray on stuff, but that will rub off onto your clothes and pillowcase.
Otherwise, check with the salons in town before you do something to your hair.........it might NOT be temporary.
EDIT: Does anyone know about making a thick paste from Koolaid and putting it in your hair to color it? Seems to me I've heard of girls doing that with red/pink and putting it in their hair for colored hi-lites. The lime jello may work for that.
My aunt and uncle have Av's season tickets and they used to be in the club level. They liked those seats, but then had a chance to move to the lower bowl, 10th row.
I haven't heard a thing about it, but if you do come out here, you wouldn't regret it.
It's cold, but not all the time, and it would be good to see our arena. Your fan base that travels could even set up a tour of the Ralph.
You'd have a good time.
Awesome!
This really shows that the players and coaches do think alot of the fan support, and are more than happy to do something like this for a kid.
As a Mom of young kids, I know that what JPL did for this young boy, will NEVER be forgotten. He will talk about it to his friends and family for a very long time.
My father in law is flying into Denver from Phoenix. As Sioux-cia mentioned earlier, her, Mr. Siouxmama, YoungAdultSon, and I will be on Al's bus.
I'm ready to go now!
I always read on this forum and hear people talk about how classless "other" fans are. I'd hope that everyone that goes to the Hobey ceremony thinks about that and gives all 3 of these young men that are in the Hat Trick the respect they deserve. It doesn't matter if you think they belong there or not, they were the 3 chosen.
Please treat them the way you would like JPL treated, if he were there.
