It really wasn't the KXJB thing that we made the switch for. Looking to upgrade to HD DVR's and DirecTV will give a free one to a new customer, but not to a 15+ year customer. With Dish, we are getting 2 HD DVR's and a regular reciever (all at no cost), a ton of channels and less $$.

In most cases, pancreatic cancer is fatal within about 1 year. It's brutal. Sorry to hear that about Mr. Brand.

I wish I was able to find an article that was in the GF Herald a while back about Mark. He has been hanging around the GF sports world since he was a young boy. He can tell you everything there is to know about the Central and RR rivalries. Scores, players, coaches and probably the plays they ran in a football game in the 70's. I think that goes for Sioux sports as well.

In the pre-game interview tonight, Jake Marto mentioned how sweet it was to sweep the Gophers, but they have to forget about that now because they have plenty more WCHA games coming up that they have to focus on.

Mr. Siouxmama and I were just talking about last weekends series. Neither one of us can recall a weekend like this with 12 goals for the Sioux, and only 4 for MN. Has there been any other lopsided weekends in the past for the Sioux/Gopher matchup?

I heard the same thing. I think it would be awesome for the Sioux to go and open their new arena. I love that roadtrip.
