Last night was overall the best stream I've seen from nchctv this season but it's not saying much. at least last night was watchable. Yes hd most of the time but it was choppy. If this was 2006 I would have been happy with it I guess. Sure is funny how I can stream anything else flawlessly and continue to have problems with one specific webcast-nchctv. I was able to stream the end of the gophers St. Cloud game following the Sioux game last night with no issues on the roku.

Choppy here . Again. the video seems to stick and skip. More bad quality video. Nchctv issues are getting old. Miss the days of fta.

Why is it that you need to watch a 30 second ad before watching any replays? Pay for service but they are still sticking in ads like a free service would like on YouTube or pandora. It a biggie just think it's silly we are advertised to like this on a pay service.

I had heard the cost of printing the tickets and employing ticket scanners exceeded the profits of ticket sales. Is there no business sense at UND?

There are complaints currently documented in five different threads, four of which are previous game threads and I'm starting this thread to hopefully get all problems listed here. Maybe the nchc could take a look and realize there is a problem with their webcast at und. The RPI game was terrible in the first period. Constant video stop and buffer and going fast while picture looked like Nintendo blades of steel. Video got better in the second to go back downhill in the third. I also had had issues with video both other weekends to have nchctv tell me it was on my end while others here were having the same issue. So please report your issues to nchctv AND use this thread to document as well.

Another und hockey game another night of nchctv issues. Feed keeps buffering and fast forwards to catch up. Multiple viewers have this documented in the game thread. How's your video southpaw?

Same thing happening here. I get impatient and refresh after 15 seconds and it works for a minut then freezes again.

No they used that excuse with me during the Manitoba game! All while admitting their struggles to other users lol.

Maybe it's time for und to take the initiative and provide another option other than nchctv for webcasts/roku like Denver has done. Denver games have been available on the college sports live app on roku.

Week one was horrible. Could not get feed to play consistently and continued to freeze. This was on a new laptop with a solid internet connection. Nchctv acknowledged their problem to users here but drilled me to do windows updates, different browsers, internet connection, update flash. Last Friday was better but audio issues happened early on. I was at the game Saturday but there were a number of issues reported here. Not a big deal but I was signed up for auto-renewal and this wasn't done. I had to manually and ask to be reimbursed for the early bird deal. Not a big deal they took care of me. Then we have the roku/Apple TV debacle. Many people went and bought a roku just for nchctv after being promised a ready date first of mid September, then 10/1, and now November. Heck I dropped $100 and bought two for two separate tvs. I'm pretty sure it was you that also defended the price increase with the cost associated with the nchc developing these apps. Well the season is underway and the Apple TV has issues and there is no roku app. If donald trump was a nchctv customer he wouldn't be paying these guys. I for one hope they can get their $hi+ together because I enjoy the product they should be displaying but they sure haven't gotten it right from the get go this season.

We are almost to week 3 of hockey now and nchctv has failed us the first two weeks. I'm hoping they have their ducks in a row for week 3. Also has anyone heard anything on roku development? I have no experience with creating a roku channel myself but there is plenty of people that have created their own roku channels out of their homes. Makes me wonder if they even really plan on launching a roku channel.

I'm hoping that neulion/nchc can improve their feed this year. I know multiple people here were having problems on Saturday and read that someone got a response where neulion acknowledged they had a problem. Neulion refused they had any problems on their end with me and told me to check for windows updates, clear cache, and try different web browsers. Pretty crappy to deal with this all over again and no Roku yet, considering the price increase.

Anyone else having issues with the nchc tv stream still? I'm on hotel wifi and video cutting in and out. HBO go streamed flawless in and my Speedtest shows 10mb dowload speeds.

That's really too bad. I thought that's why they were charging extra for the renewals was to pay for this and Apple TV. Quite unfortunate.

Also an extra point attempt wasn't a guaranteed extra point with that wind. I also like the play call.

I'm not on Twitter myself but I'd have to assume if money had to be invested by the nchc for the channel that there will be a nchc channel. Neulion recently launched a channel on roku with the Ivy league. They also have one with the big ten and many others so we better get our own channel!

Is this the same team that vandalized the alerus center a few years back?

I wonder if the REA tried to get any of these games. Would've been a fun time!
