  1. I'll take the CDC's word for it over Alex Berensen any day.
  2. Isn't that basically where we are now, and going for herd immunity? Unfortunately we don't know anything about herd immunity with this virus. It's been around for a few months and we don't know that you catch it and are now immune. We don't know the affects this has on your long term health if you catch it. We don't really need to get into the benefits of wearing or not wearing a mask on your health. It's well known that you wear a mask to prevent droplets from spreading to another others. You can take it a step further and protect yourself by wearing a N95 mask, if you can get one. You'd think if processed meats are considered essential under the defense act that having an adequate PPE supply nationwide would be as well, but the world works in funny ways.
  3. You do realize the CDC has made clear that they haven't changed how they classify deaths right? But yeah sure they are doing this to pad the covid numbers, under Trump!
  4. Dead serious. Thanks for looking out we need more people policing this. Don't feel like a snitch, dispatch would love to take the info you provide to make the roads a safer place.
  5. Feel free to call me in if I'm driving recklessly, am leaking any fluids, or dropping nails on the road. I'm all for safer driving.
  6. That's great news, let me share it with everyone I know who works in a hospital or long term care setting. Can you tell me the last time the flu killed 60,000 people in the US in one month?
  7. You want my plates? feel free to pm me.
  8. I'd agree that many could use some training on hygiene and mask wearing skills. Thankfully this thing is in our rear view mirror eh?
  9. What do you have against wearing a mask to protect others? If you see me speeding feel free to call me in. Difference is I'm not calling you in....but I'll call you out.
  10. For now it's your choice. If you are in Grand Forks and shop at Hugo's, they are asking you to wear a mask. If you really disagree with that request, buy your groceries from somewhere else.
  11. Make that decision for yourself. It's too bad that your poor decisions will affect others. Don't be that guy - Pence at Mayo.
  12. Hugo’s also has signs up asking everyone that enters to wear a mask. From my observation, 50% were wearing masks on saturday when I was on 32nd. The thing is none of us really know what the acceptable threshold is. We do know that it has killed almost 70k in the US with most of those deaths occurring in under a month of time. And those who die with it are dying on average of ten years before their expected time. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wsj.com/amp/articles/coronavirus-kills-people-an-average-of-a-decade-before-their-time-11588424401
  13. We have a long ways to go before we are to a point of there being more tests than those that want a test. In ND they are mass testing at nursing homes. To protect residents some of the long term care facilities are even paying their staff to be tested.
  14. I sure would hope an identified asymptomatic carrier would isolate themselves. As far as I can tell they'd be committing a class b misdemeanor in ND if they didn't. I know we can't stop people from acting recklessly but the government can and should be taking measures to limit reckless behavior. To encourage compliance I would hope the government could assist to make sure this is do-able and that person would be eligible for some paid leave from work or unemployment benefits.
  15. Um testing does matter because if you test positive the government will order you to isolate to prevent you from sharing the virus with others. If you live in ND..... https://www.legis.nd.gov/cencode/t23c07-6.pdf
  16. Such a refreshing place to come and learn about republican politics.
  17. No interest in digging further. I also don't think the hospitals are who we should be trying to pick apart right now.
  18. You could always go on twitter and say you are hearing these things and ask for people to send you reports or evidence.
  19. NY Times gave Grand Forks and Fargo some attention today. Both communities show up in the Highest avg. daily growth rate of cases.... https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/04/23/upshot/five-ways-to-monitor-coronavirus-outbreak-us.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage I don't know how trustful this info is as they are counting 20 deaths for Fargo in their Highest avg. daily growth rate of deaths chart.
  20. I know I'm defending Trump here. He's not the moron. Even if he was, he'd never admit it:)
  21. Could we start with the two gun slingers pictured in this article? https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/04/coronavirus-protests/610363/ Or maybe the 150 people in Bismarck earlier this week seen standing shoulder to shoulder, shaking hands, and talking into loudspeakers into 40 mile per hour winds? Maybe it was too windy for them to hear this but the president never asked them to liberate North Dakota.
  22. Trump's not the moron. It's his fish tank cleaning, chloriquine ingesting, liberation protesting followers that can lay claim to this name.
  23. Does this even crack the the top ten most ridiculous statements made by our president over the past three months?
  24. In her case they are sedated scans, so maybe its the meds or the vent needed.
